In conditions where there is little sand or hard packed sand/dirt should you still try to use a wedges bounce or play it like a chip shot off a tight lie. I have a 56 wedge/14 bounce, 52 wedge with 10 bounce and a 60 wedge with 10 bounce
When you lower the handle, doesn't that point the face more toward the closed side? Kind of like hitting with the ball above your feet.
Absolutely awesome instruction! Thanks
Between opening the face vs lowering the stance, would you say it is a bit more predictable to play with an open face? I find myself in that position vs the lowered stance where I feel I am in less control of the follow through.
Great tip on bounce. My gap and lob wedge are both 12 degrees and my sand wedge is 14 and I play mostly on hard sand. Like the high bounce on chip shots. Is there a way to hold the club to reduce the bounce when in the trap?
If there there 3 dots on my lob wedge club which means how many degrees of bounce? If want to get more bonunce on club? Same with my other clubs there don’t have any dots on them! They only have S/P/A.
Is there a drill that will help me stop moving my head off the ball before contact. I really like this tip. Yesterday I made seven double bogeys by hitting fat chip shots. Please help me as it will make golf fun again for me.
