Crooked River Ranch Golf

Crooked River is a nice layout with many great risk/reward holes. All the par 5’s are reachable for even a mid handicap player. It has several challenging holes and is no pushover but I always enjoy playing there. One of my favorites!

The course was great. The mowers were NOT. Two different mowers… one, with a beard, mowed around the tee box while my wife was trying to tee off without stopping. After my staring at him for awhile he stopped for me. Wife decided to hit another since he had stopped but he started mowing again while she hit. Then the other mower was mowing all around the green two holes later while our group was trying to putt. I have golfed all over and never have I experienced the rudeness of these two men on a course.

First time playing this course and it didn’t disappoint. Extremely generous fairways and most holes were pretty straight. Not a long course but very enjoyable, even for my wife as a new player to the game. Greens were in excellent condition and were fairly consistent.

Kudos to the staff and greens keepers for providing an excellent golf experience!

Very fun, tee boxes on front need to be closed and seeded. Otherwise mist enjoyable.

Crooked River Ranch Golf Resort is such a treat to play! Great staff and course conditions. The views are spectacular!!!

My buddy and I were in Central Oregon for a golf trip and booked 9 holes with a cart. When we arrived, the employee claimed we changed it to 18 holes for 3 people walking—which wasn’t true. My confirmation email showed 2 people with a cart.

We were overcharged, and when we asked for a refund, they tried to push us into playing 18 because “it’s already paid for.” After going back and forth, we got a refund—but they initially shorted me and were rude when I pointed it out.

They did the same thing to my friend and didn’t fully refund him (he didn’t push the issue).

It was my first time playing Crooked River Ranch. What at great experience! Course is in great shape!

The course is okay, but apparently pace of play does not mean much to the course management. They allow fivesomes on the course as policy (we asked specifically). Just finished a five hour plus round on a day when the tee sheet had openings, playing behind a fivesome. This was our group's first time playing there this year. We had heard rumors about slow play being the norm. It was slow play on steroids for no reason other than allowing fivesomes as policy. We won't be playing there again until they modify that policy. It is the only course I am aware of that allows fivesomes and is willing to live with five hour rounds.

Nice course out in the boondocks. Well manicured greens were real good.
