The Golf Club of Bristol

About
The Golf Club of Bristol was founded in 1894, making it one of the longest running clubs in the country. It's also considered the birthplace of organized golf in Tennessee and is still recognized as one of the best courses in the state. The current address is the fourth physical location of the club. The course that stands today was the created by A.G. McKay, a Tennessee native. The layout is challenging but fair with long, narrow fairways and fast, undulating greens. With several risk-reward holes throughout, it's a golf course that will make you think. The par-4 ninth, one of the tougher holes, is a dogleg left that plays uphill and over water. Besides the excellent game it offers, The Golf Club of Bristol is known for having some of the most well manicured fairways and greens in the area.

Club of Bristol was great
I have only played here once before many years ago and remembered it being a beautiful course. At that time it was Bristol Country Club. This course does not disappoint and I would highly recommend playing here.
Course is in good shape enjoyed the pace of play and course layout.
Getting there
Course has a nice layout. The conditions are improving from week to week.
No range balls
Disappointed with the greens condition as they haven’t healed from being aerated.
Wish course had informed people of that on GolfNow
Overall layout was good and I will try again later giving the greens more time to heal.
Good day
Course in excellent shape. Staff and people were very nice.
Great day
We had a great time. Got off 45 minutes before tee time. Guy behind desk was fantastic. I know it’s private but it was in great shape and a joy to play
Nice post storm round
Played after hurrican Helene and the course was in great shape. They had over 20 trees down but it did not affect the round at all. A fun course
