Wildhorse Golf Course

Didn't expect this much constructions on the course.

Had machines in the bunkers and workers on the course.

Over priced for this condition.

We decided not to come anymore.

Very disappointed.

Bald patches in the fairways all over. Greens above average. Understanding the over 100*F weather, greens seemed to give you a good roll. Several bunkers devoid of sand. Not a good bunker shot course for practice round.

Overall a good comfortable location for the Davis area golfers

This course has a fun layout but the course is badly neglected. 80% of bunkers were ground under repair, tee boxes need serious mowing and fairways need some serious maintenance.

The staff were so nice, we’d love to see this course get better.

Another thing: golfers were jumping in all over the course. The Marshall was totally clueless, parked under a tree browsing on his phone.

Until this course gets some attention, we won’t be back.

Everything is good overall. Except with one major issue is that they allow newcomers to come in on the back 9 and cut golfers off coming from the front 9, which makes us lose pace. They should start them in the front 9 instead.

A good combination of “Perfect weather”with a beautiful atmosphere and a professionally maintained golf course is rather rare these days. It was a pleasant surprise to play at the Wildhorse today. Fairways are well maintained, bunkers have adequate sand and the greens were fast enough although they had aeration holes remaining. Pace of the play was good and the players were quite ethical. Pro shop staff was very friendly and courteous, greeting us that made us welcomed. They were not “bossy “ like some other places. They seemed to have some good merchandise in the shop. We’ll look at them the next time. Since it’s closer than other courses for us, we’ll have to play more often at the Wildhorse. Thanks GolfNow.

Taylor was fantastic. I made an error on my online tee time and was nice enough to squeeze and play.

Played here years ago. I would not recommend this place it needs a lot of work yellow areas dead grass. Bunkers some sand some grass some rock hard. I know it’s winter but I play other coarses in Fairfield and they are in much better shape. If the place continues down this path it will look like wild wings soon.

Cool layout, fun course but it's not in the best condition, bunkers are horrible, ponds could use a little more water, for $80 i would definitely play somewhere else.

It's a nice layout, fun course but the condition of the course isn't worth $80, it's about a $50 to $60 course, breakfast burrito was good, greens we're in ok shape
