I felt bad for the course superintendent. I have seen this course in its best times and because of water restrictions, the fairways are burned up. The greens are in good shape but the rest of the course is struggling. Regardless, I still enjoyed your round.

We had to hunt grass on a lot of the fairways as they were extremely bare and desert like. We also had a couple behind us that thought it was okay to hit into us on several holes. They never got close enough for us to offer them the opportunity to play through and we were playing fast enough to finish in under 3 and a half hours. We were a twosome also. Just a shame as those 2 things prevented us from having a great experience.

An earlier great review has to be submitted as now only Fair, for the reasons chosen above. For additional details:

1) Not the usual warm greeting when signing in.

2) Tee boxes that were only sand/dirt

3) Fairways in the same poor condition with sand/dirt in regular landing areas.

4) Generally poor bunker conditions

5) Greens though, very good and challenging.

6) I looked on Golf Now for open Tee times and was hoping to play as a single later in the day (for practice time too, the range is in very poor condition), but course play was EXTREMELY slow. Had to stop was short of 18 holes or it might have been 5.5+ hour round. Might be my fault for going out solo, but it was never that slow, even when playing alone.

I hope that this is helpful feed-back and I know that Tatum Ridge can be a way better experience overall. A lot of work to do though. I hope to give TR another chance sometime in the future.

The excellent greens keep me coming back. Now as we enter our rainy season hopefully we’ll start to see more grass on the fairways and Tee boxes.

Overall the course shouldn’t be open, they are working on it and it is in awful condition, greens were good but just a waste of money

Used to play here every week with some good local players in a big game.

Unfortunately the tees, fairways and bunkers are almost unplayable due to the condition

I will say the greens are decent which allowed us to play still, after some very nasty lies.

Fingers crossed for some rain, hard work and revitalization.

The fairways were in terrible condition. We were hardly ever hitting off grass. There were many bare spots everywhere, some had a few blades of dead grass and weeds were everywhere. On the plus side, the greens were in great shape. It's hard to figure out this disparity. But we were there for a fun family outing. My wife and I were playing match play against our son and son-in-law. We beat them two up. They kept going for the big drives while we just hit ours down the middle. They spent a lot of their time looking for their balls. Ha!

Florida drought conditions have impacted fairways and tee boxes, but greens are in great shape. Fun, challenging course. Would play again in a heartbeat. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Well run course. Had a great time!

I’m sure it was due to the recent drought conditions but most of the tee boxes and fairways were in really poor condition.

Greens were really good. Tee boxes really bad. Fairways were fair with some tough areas. Rain would help. I always enjoy this course and it is a good value

Beautiful course, cart guy friendly and helpful. Check in guy needs to go to hospitality school. Never says hello or thank you. Allows 6-somes to play! So much fun watching 6 guys on same hole playing in front of you. ( Not really)!

Course is great, greens impeccable.

Fairways and tees are suffering from this drought but nothing can be done about it. Greens in good condition even though they were slow. Staff as always very friendly.

Always a good course for a quick round

The course fairways have taken a beating due to the FL drought conditions. However the greens are very good. The course pace of play this time of year is fast. It took us 3 hours to finish 18 holes.

Staff is friendly and beer is cold.

They offer spark play on Thursday too.

First of all, I would like to say the greens are in great condition a little long, but acceptable on this season but the fairways were terrible over half of the fairways had no grass. The rough had more grass than the fairways almost every shot had to be played off of dirt. I really am disappointed in this because I played this in the past and it was excellent. I would really love to have my money back. It was not a fun experience.
