Meadows Golf Club's Meadows Course is the focal point of one of Sarasota's most well-known golf destinations. This championship layout, which was first created by Francis Dwayne in 1976 and carefully redesigned by renowned architect Ron Garl in 2004, has withstood the test of time while developing into a cutting-edge and challenging test of golf. The Meadows Course, which spans five sets of tee markers and ranges in length from 5,092 to 6,572 yards, is designed to test and interest players of all skill levels. The Meadows Course delivers whether you're a recreational golfer looking for a fun and fulfilling round or an experienced player trying to master every nuance the course has to offer. The course, which is winding through the verdant natural setting that characterizes this part of Sarasota, requires careful shotmaking, strategic thinking, and consideration for the numerous strategically placed hazards. Every roun is made with thoughtfully contoured greens, undulating fairways, and a layout that prioritizes course management over raw power.

Fun course but the conditions just aren't there yet. Greens need a lot of work
Best value in Sarasota/Manatee Counties
First time playing this course for everyone in our foursome. I had played the Highland course many times in the past but never played the Meadows course as it was only open to members.The staff was welcoming, new carts are awesome and the course conditions were excellent for this time of year.

Was able to play Fri,Sun and Mon because of Golf Now Fairways and Tee Boxes in great condition. Greens were sandy and a little bunny. But had a great time all three days. How 82 ,85, and 84. I was delighted.

Great time
This was the first time I have been able to get on the meadows as it is normally private, but the course conditions were wonderful. The pace of play was amazing with no snowbirds. I will definitely be back here again.
Nice Course
Would definitely go back. Going through some renovations but course has great potential. Carts are brand new with state of the art technology. Once they finish getting the course well seeded and groomed, this will be a gem.

Worth it
I had a blast. The staff were friendly and attentive. The conditions are not 100% by any measure but the greens are in good shape and the course has some great holes. Absolutely worth it! I will be back
A gem that is often overlooked
There has been a lot of bad press about the bankruptcy of the Meadows Country club and the resulting condition of the course. The course had been bought and/or managed by Benderson (the developer who created the UTC) After avoiding to play there I thought I'd take a flyer and try it. I was more than pleasantly surprised, the course is in very good condition, the greens are fast and true, fairways have complete coverage and with the one teebox that is being rebuilt there were all good. Golf carts were state of the art and all new and the course has been well maintained. This course was so much better than any of the moderately priced courses in Sarasota/Bradenton. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed, a real gem
Worst course ever
This is probably the worst course I ever played. No grass in the fairways, weeds in the greens and $90 for 18 holes. Totally a rip off.
