About
The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

Worst course in Central Florida
Just one comment, Greens are the worst I've ever seen. Unplayable. Stay away, there's so many more affordable options in the area.

The worst conditions i have ever played i dont understand how a single person could come here and willingly pay more than 5 dollars to play the worst course in all of central florida horrible fairways horrible tee boxes horrible greens i have ever payed to play on
Greens in bad shape
The course layout is very good but the greens and trees are in bad conditions and have been in bad conditions for a long time now. The greens under aerification and we got a good price for the round but the fact that there are big patches of dirt and wet spots around the greens make it almost unpleyable.

Really bad greens
The greens need so much attention. Some patches have no grass at all.

Needs TLC
WOW!! Was I disappointed with this course. First, let me say the staff is fantastic. They are friendly and very helpful. The clubhouse and pro shop are first rate. The driving range is superb. This is where the good ends. I have been playing golf for 54 years and I have to say the course conditions here were in the bottom 3 of all the courses I have played. In my area, this would be no more than a $25 round for a course in this shape. What is surprising is that I paid $79 at a discount for late afternoon. A round here is usually well over $100 for prime tee times. Is the course challenging? Absolutely! It is a challenge to find nice grass in the fairway! I will say that most of the sand traps are very nice. In fact, I have never seen so many bunkers. This course needs a lot of TLC.

Course Has Potential, But Service Fell Short
The biggest issue I had was with the service. An employee took my cart and clubs without letting me know, and when my clubs were moved to another cart, not all of my belongings were transferred. When I asked about my missing items, the employee was rude and even went as far as threatening to involve the golf superintendent when I was upset on the issue, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
Additionally, we only saw the beverage cart once during all 18 holes, which was disappointing.
As for the course itself, the only concern I noticed was that the greens were rough around the edges and could use some maintenance.

The clubhouse is great. The golf staff is excellent. It is located in a tourist area of Kissimmee so off course amenities are plenty. The cost was $99 per golfer. There are a lot of sand bunkers making it very interesting. The only issue was that there was some disease areas on the fairways and greens.
I do recommend this course as an option if you are in the area.
Throughly Enjoyed The Course
I read some recent reviews which were not very flattering, but my experience was quite different. From the time you pull through the gates you are treated like a guest. from the cart guys, to the pro shop, to the starter and marshal, everyone was pleasant and helpful.
The course was beautiful as well. this may be my first time plating a Rees Jones layout and the was fair if you hit the ball pretty straight, but it was challenging if you were out of the short grass. The fairways were well defined and all of the bunkers were raked and had sufficient sand. I enjoyed the course so much that I returned the following day and played it again. I was out early both days so pace of play was pretty good, given the windy conditions. This course is now on my list of courses to play when I am in town.

Falcons Fire Subpar this time around
The staff was not overly friendly like they normally are. Seemed like a bare bones operation this time around in terms of people working. The greens were hit or miss. Somewhere were OK, while others were diseased and had some damage to them. The fairways and tee boxes were in decent shape. Overall, I was disappointed in the overall value from this round

Great course except…
I love this course. Was perfect day for a round. No one in front of me most of the way and no one behind me most of the way. The course was I. Great shape except most of the greens had some dead areas or really brown areas on them and some of the bunkers were small ponds. I do love this course as it is normally pretty nice.

Wouldn’t play here for 50$
This course really disappointed me for $130. More than half the greens were under repair and nearly unplayable. 6 times i had destroyed green in my line, 2 of which were for birdie and one threw my ball over a foot to the right. There was also standing water on 1/3 of the bunkers.
Speaking of bunkers, this course has a ton and you’ll be in them allot if you’re like me. Pace of play was also very slow as they packed the course out (it was a Saturday but important to mention). The back nine actually had a nice layout and 13 was very fun as i carried the water and was left a chip for eagle. For the current conditions this course should at least be half the price at a minimum and i wouldn’t waste my vacation time here period.
