Crystal Springs Golf Course

It's been a while since I've played this course. It was pretty disappointing to see the shape it was in for what the price was. It's not worth what they are currently charging. Majority of the tee boxes were beat up and we found out the morning of that there were 3 greens that had recently been punched. It must be getting a lot of play for them to charge that much, but the maintenance team needs to step it up.

The course conditions, chopped up tees, some greens punched, uneven rolls o greens, not worth $125.

Course is in great shape this time of the year. They just sanded all the greens, however. Pace of play is extremely slow having two groups on each fairway. Beverage cart girls are extremely friendly and talkative.

While I enjoyed the course, the overall conditions were good minus the bumpy greens. I cannot recommend this course to a friend because of the 6 hour round! I think times every 9 minutes is too close together. If you don’t mind a 5.5 to 6 hour, this is a good course.

They over booked the course so my group ended up playing a 5hr 15min round. First time they had a marshal but this time one of the playing partners of the group had to call the pro shop after the front 9 and when the kid they sent came by he didn’t give me any impression of any type of authority compared to the OG marshal from the first time. And on the turn be ready to be haggled to buy fireballs and transfusions.

7/10 course but just happened to catch the course on a bad management day.

Course was very nice with a few wet areas but very interesting and tough layout.

Played on my own. No groups would let me through. After playing 9 holes in 2 hours and 40min I skipped ahead of some groups and saw a foursome 2 holes behind and a I passed a twosome on the 14th hole that were very slow. No groups after them so I played four holes in 25 min and left. There were no marshalls managing pace of play which would have helped

If you've not played Crystal, you're in for a very challenging treat, especially if you're used to somewhat 'flat' courses...lots of elevation challenges and obstacles....not for the faint of heart but I think a great Bay Area course...

Some players on the course move very slowly, and there are groups exceeding the four-player limit—I’ve even heard of a group with eight people playing together. At the same time, the marshal doesn’t seem to enforce pace-of-play rules. On one occasion, it took me six hours to complete a round, and players in my group ended up giving up and not finishing the game.

Always like playing here course was a little muddy but staff where on tellling whatx holes wee car path only. Played with 3 other people who played the way I do which made it more fun . Will definitely one back the view is worth it

This course is best for intermediate golfers and above who enjoy a natural landscape complimenting the beautiful scenery. Amenities were underwhelming, due to depth of course possibly too challenging for those learning which can be unpleasant and impact a round.

The course layout was great with wildlife roaming free and beautiful scenic backdrops. Unfortunately, the greens were subpar because of maintenance. I would play again

Course is overwatered. Standing water on all green. Wet spots all over the place from overwatering if they didn’t put so much water on, it would be really nice. No ball washers. I’m a little confused as to why they use so much water because it’s in a watershed area that has plenty of moisture from the fog. I can’t believe it’s $122 to play this place on a weekend way overpriced.!!!!!!!

Prices here are ridiculous. Oh and if you think your gonna get your round done in 4 1/2 hour good luck it's gonna be more like 5 1/2. The pace of play is terrible and seems to have gotten worse. The course has nice views and some good holes but it's not worth the price. I recommend going to a place like Cinnabar which is the same price and SO MUCH BETTER!
