Golfer Reviews
Airated
The course was offered at a price that did not match course quality.
I would appreciate a rain check.43/45
disappointed
played this course many times before w/o incident. this time, hole #5 was closed, due to tree removal along the side of par 3, 180 yd uphill hole and two other holes were shortened considerably (i.e. 400 yd par 5 down to 275 yds). no warning of changed conditions at front desk and no discount offered.
Mud Bunkers
The bunkers are mud. Greens are burned out. It’s sad what they’ve done to it.
Poorly maintenanced
One hole was under repair and has to be skipped. The next hole was shorteded to par 3 from the original par 4.
Nice Golf Course
It’s a nice course with lots of trees (good shade). Greens are big. Wide fairways. Beautiful place to get a round of golf. There is the sound of the ocean as well as the smell of it. Sadly, no views. If playing late in the day (>5PM), don’t recommend paying for the cart as it needs to be returned before 7:30 PM. Pace of play was unfortunately slow as the party in front had a first timer getting some practice in.
Overall, it’s a 3/5.
Check it out!
Front 9 is beautiful. Course conditions are good.
Back 9 is a dog track with no ocean view. Skip it! Go to Presidio.
It's just like you read about
This course is great, like a walk back in time.
I was lucky enough to get a hot deal on a not so windy day.
Didn't get to pair up but had a one of the best solo rounds ever.
Fairways are straight forward, everyone complains that they don't mow down to define em.
I felt like every ball sat up enough that it wasn't an issue and it gives it more a park like feel to the place. Plus, the line for hitting/missing fairways gets blurred so that's fun
Greens were smooth and wind was mild. Views are great
Definitely coming back
They were aerating the greens and modified the course. Only 8 holes you could actually hit onto the green. The other holes you had to putt in really tall grass. They charged full price. If I knew ahead of time I wouldn’t have played.
great course, nice staff and well kept
Really fun time golfing here. Had a beautiful day too which made it better. Backed up at one section of the course for a few holes. Regulars behind us said it’s a normal thing. Would still 100% golf here again.
