This course has gone downhill since management changed
I played there for the first time since management changed last year and it has gone downhill! What used to be one of my favorite courses in the Sarasota area is now a below average golf course that’s WAY overpriced for its condition. Green on hole #2 is a unplayable and the rest of the course is in pretty bad shape. There are courses I can play TWICE for what I payed here and they’re in better shape. VERY SAD what happened to my beloved Serenoa!!
MAYBE ONCE MORE
OKAY COURSE. NOT WORTH ANYMORE THAN $60. TEES AND FAIRWAYS WERE JUST AVERAGE. GREENS WERE SLOW AND BUMPY.
Unfortunately for Serenoa, the county water ban is taking a toll on the course, fairways and greens. The longer the ban the worse it gets!
Wish you still had the promotion like last years where you signed up for a minimum of 3 months, paid a flat monthly fee, could make tee times up to 10 days in advance and played after 2pm. Unfortunately, my group of 8 players playing 2-3 times a week decided to play elsewhere. We also had many diners and beverages while there in addition to golfing. If you offered something similar in the fall and winter, we would strongly consider going back to your course. Just my thoughts!
New friend day
Met a new friend and we decided to go play golf. Had a nice time and played with a very nice couple
Course could use some work
Some tee boxes pretty beaten up. Manu greens have bare spots. Staff very friendly. Excellent burger after the round. Played the course at a discount price otherwise I wouldn't have played it.
Nice course
Had played Seranoa in a group for about 4 years thru 2025. Group broke up partially due to the constantly increasing fees.
Always enjoyed playing at Seranoa but only played there twice this season.
New ownership!
Under new ownership and it seems that it will take time to get a handle on this course condition..being said, you have to put money back into the course.. the best part of this course was in one bunker during the round and it actually had nice sand in it. Greens were not that great but I have seen worse, fairways just ok!Will not recommend..
Enjoyed the course layout - excellent playing conditions and lots of wildlife.
