Misty Creek Country Club

Tried Misty Creek for the first time yesterday to celebrate my birthday! So much fun! We got to play with the new greenskeeper named Terry for the first 9 holes - what a treat! The greens rolled true and the scenery (specifically the wildlife) was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our round at Misty Creek as we usually do when we visit Sarasota. The 2025 renovations turned out great, course is prettier and has better turf than before. Greens were a little slow this time out, but mostly smooth with the exception of a couple holes. We enjoy the nature preserve feel of the course and that on many holes you do not see any homes. Definitely a good choice in the Sarasota area.

was told course was going through upgrades and it was a fair test greens a little slow but rolled great. ok practice area. when i come back next year (I'm a snowbird) will definitely come back and paly knowing more improvement's are coming

Misty Creek is an absolute beautiful course and I love playing it. It's very challenging and I think it's one of the best courses in the area for the money. If you play later in the day it's much cheaper so there's availability for at different price ranges. After playing two weeks ago, I vowed to play Misty weekly. Absolutely love it

The course is showing signs of wear on the tee boxes and greens

For having just reopened 5 months ago, amazing how average the condition is. Some tee boxes are terribly beat up already, it appears as though the staff are not moving the tee markers around and no controlling where carts drive repeatedly. If you can catch an afternoon round for $70 it is worth it. The layout and location in a preserve is beautiful. Hope they can keep the condition up, they appear to be struggling.

First couple of greens got something going on maybe a fungus, the rest were fine. Everything was good

First time playing the course since renovation. Some really nice touches in landscaping and they cut down a lot of trees which allows you direct access to holes instead of hitting over them. Fairways and tee boxes in great shape but greens are a little hard and have quite a few bad patches. Aeration should help. All in all a really nice course.

The course was good, but the greens were slow for Florida. The next day I played myacca and they were much faster. I definitely would play again.

The two I was put with, only had one set of clubs, which slowed things up and was annoying.

Course has a nice layout Green firm but slow with some greens with bare spots, Old Florida course.

My favorite course around here including private courses I get to play of. The physical beauty and the lack of housing just makes you feel like your in the jungle the whole time. The staff is so nice and accommodating and that includes the pro shop, the starters and the rangers. Pace of play was excellent and the cart lady is our frequently. The renovations have made the course even more player friendly and they're doing a good job despite the cold weather we had and lack of rain. Not perfect like it was but no complaints.

I am really impressed with the changes that were made to the course. Golf course is more open and playable..
