Aliante Golf Course

Played Golf/White combo and course was challenging enough. Greens ran true but bunker were hard as a rock. Starter not that friendly, having a bad day I guess. $70 I would play it again, definitely considering a lot Vegas courses are $100 plus for non residents.

As a golf now hot deal with a discount code, Aliante was a tremendous value. The layout is interesting and fun, with enough challenge while very playable. It’s in good shape, although the bunkers could use more sand; right now there’s a thin layer of sand and gravel above hard pan. Some of the views are spectacular. Minor annoyances were not getting a cart until right before tee time and a very slow back 9. We definitely will keep this course on our list for when we return to LV.

Every thing was great except the cart guy to get your cart. Course is in great condition. Greens were perfect for my game, not too fast and not too slow. Cart/drink lady mixed very good drinks. Pace of play was 4:30.

Checking in was easy. The pro shop guy and the starter were very friendly and helpful. They did warn me there was a girls jr golf tournament going on so we ended up doing the front 9 twice because we caught up to them on the 10th. It was a very fast round. The back only took us a little more than a hour. The course is in ok shape. Tee boxes were a little long and it was often hard to find a flat place to tee off. Fairways and rough are decent, greens are good but weren’t really rolling very true so it was hard to make putts at times. Tons of ball marks that weren’t fixed. For every 20 foot putt I had, I was fixing 5 marks and leaving another 5. But they aren’t slow so that’s a plus. I paid $40 for a hot deal at 1:42pm. That’s a pretty good deal for a Vegas course. I wouldn’t pay any more than that. It’s just not nice enough.

Nothing but enjoying this course every week. Overall it’s in great condition and the tee rate is amazing.

First time on the course. Staff was great and course conditions were good. Few dry spots but overall it was good condition. Greens were good. Enjoyable round and will be back.

Great course, slowest rounds of golf I may have ever played

For the cost (Even for residents) this course is probably one of the worst I've been to. It seems like their irrigation is mostly focused on greens, leaving tee boxes and fairways dry and dusty, and most gras was either dead or dying. The man that checked us in for the reservation was pleasant enough, but the guy outside helping get golfers in carts was a pain to deal with. We had an 11:50 tee time, and he started the interaction by telling us we didnt have time for the range (Which I had just bought a bucket of balls for) with 20 minutes til our tee time. When we then tried to get our cart keys, we were told there was a tourney that was coming back to #1 from #9, and we would need to wait for them, and was told to expect to start 15 minutes later than scheduled. No problem, we have range balls. We tried walking to the range, and the cart man then tells us we need to go wait in line at #1. It was also pretty hot out, and their cart path is virtually entirely in direct sunlight, so having to wait for players ahead we were often just standing in the sun. We ended up only golfing 9 of our 18 holes. Long story short, I will be going back to Chimera which is closer, nicer, and cheaper.

There was no notice neither announcement about this when I booked. really disappointed...

Need a lot of work, fairways are decent but greens are decent at best, bunkers are rock infested. Need to have a beverage cart.out there more than once during a round. The starter is not friendly, not many people out on the course playing the back nine twice which I didnt k ow until I heard someone mentioned it. But if you have plenty of carts, why pair people up and not allow everyone to get a cart so.the pace moves faster and ice on the chest is provided since the beverage cart is non existent? Need to do better.

I avoided playing this course for years because it was usually in poor condition, the ground was very hard and if you took a divot you might break a wrist. However, in the current heat, a lot of courses are in poor condition and have had watering issues. Aliante had an early tee time and the price was cheap so I figured, better than nothing since all the course kinda suck right now. I was extremely surprised, the fairway were thick and lush, so much so I didn't get much roll. But that's OK because they were so nice to hit off of, I dont play well on tight lies, so I will take the trade off, just go up on my clubs. The starter sent us early because we were ready and the group ahead of us hadn't checked in yet, previously pace of play here had been slow, but we only waited on a couple of holes at the beginning, then it was smooth sailing. Once we got past the 1st par 3. I was warned the sand traps weren't great, but I was able to get out easily, at least the ones I wound up in were nice and soft and fluffy sand, not gravel pits like some courses. I know they dont oversees in winter, so it will go dormant, but I will definitely be booking here again after this experience.
