About
Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Golfer Reviews
No notice about front nine closure
when I checked in at golf course, I noticed that the course only open for back nine.
play back nine two times for 18 holes play.
If I knew I wouldn't come to this golf course.
There was no notice neither announcement about this when I booked. really disappointed...
Need a lot of work, fairways are decent but greens are decent at best, bunkers are rock infested. Need to have a beverage cart.out there more than once during a round. The starter is not friendly, not many people out on the course playing the back nine twice which I didnt k ow until I heard someone mentioned it. But if you have plenty of carts, why pair people up and not allow everyone to get a cart so.the pace moves faster and ice on the chest is provided since the beverage cart is non existent? Need to do better.
Much improved
I avoided playing this course for years because it was usually in poor condition, the ground was very hard and if you took a divot you might break a wrist. However, in the current heat, a lot of courses are in poor condition and have had watering issues. Aliante had an early tee time and the price was cheap so I figured, better than nothing since all the course kinda suck right now. I was extremely surprised, the fairway were thick and lush, so much so I didn't get much roll. But that's OK because they were so nice to hit off of, I dont play well on tight lies, so I will take the trade off, just go up on my clubs. The starter sent us early because we were ready and the group ahead of us hadn't checked in yet, previously pace of play here had been slow, but we only waited on a couple of holes at the beginning, then it was smooth sailing. Once we got past the 1st par 3. I was warned the sand traps weren't great, but I was able to get out easily, at least the ones I wound up in were nice and soft and fluffy sand, not gravel pits like some courses. I know they dont oversees in winter, so it will go dormant, but I will definitely be booking here again after this experience.
Amazing course
Greens and fairways were amazing. Highly recommend this course everyone.
Well worth it!
Aliante is a great deal in Vegas. Solid layout with great mountain views! Multiple tee boxes for players of all levels. Course is in good shape, but the greens were a little bumpy and medium speed. All in all, it’s a good “muni” option in terms of feel, quality, and cost. I’m coming back sure!
Always good condition.
The course layout were good and the greens were great. They just punched the greens weeks ago and they are looking great. Highly recommend this golf course to everyone and the green fee were descent compare to other golf courses that charge more.
First Timer at Aliante
i just picked up the beautiful game of golf over a year ago and do what I can to play at as many courses as possible to challenge my already "first timer" status as a golfer. I shot an 87 after 18 holes and its only because I have understood the concept of just hit it down the middle of the fairway. Aliante's course proves this concept hence my score. It's local to me, Golf Now makes it easy to book, pricing was very affordable, and I purposely went at the part of the day that not many people would prefer to play in (100+ degrees), so the pace of my round was perfect... no one behind me and no one in front of me. I will definitely be booking again!
Pls do better.
Get to the course and they are only playing the front 9. They just punched the greens on front the day before. ( no mention in GN app ). Cart GPS wouldn't work, which isnt a big deal cause I use a range finder, but would of been nice to see the course hazards. Scenery was nice. Fairways in good condition. The rough was rough, thick grass clippings not blown or picked up.
Not what I expected.
I paid to play the full 18 hole course and end up having to play the front 9 twice and the green were punch. Wish all this would have been disclose before I make the purchase. Next time I'm visiting, I will call them. The only thing that was excellent was the cool overcast weather instead 100 plus temperature.
More information needed
GolfNow and Aliante did not communicate the reason for the discount. Front line was closed so they had it set up for playing the back nine twice. This was my first time and I wanted to see this course in its entirety they did however give me a rain check to come back and play the front nine since I agreed to only play nine holes.
plugging the greens this week
Like the course in general, just plugging the greens this week
Good Course, Excellent Condition
The course layout was nothing special. Very flat with nice views of the mountains. The fairways were very wide, making the adjacent course side homes generally out of play. No hidden shots or forced carries, everything is straightforward. What you see is what you get. Greens are among the best in the Las Vegas area. people need to pick up their feet when they walk and stop damaging the greens. Some complained the green speed was inconsistent. That was not my experience. I should have putted better, but it was NOT the fault of the greens. They rolled true. Playing time at 10:30 am was 4.5 hours. The heat was intense...like 112 degrees. Only saw the beverage cart once in 4.5 hours. Stock up before you head out.
You must play this course!!!!
Vacationing from NC to Vegas. It’s hard to find good courses that don’t add the out of town surcharge for golf. This course doesn’t do that not to mention the course was in excellent condition. The greens were manicured and rolled true. It’s July so of course it was hot but a 105 degree Vegas day is a lot better than a 90 degree NC day with humidity any day. I even shot my personal best 78 for the round. Not to mention the views are incredible. Definitely on the consideration list for a golf trip next year.
Good conditions
Greta shape. Pace was a challenge. Waited on every tee box. And every approach shot. Sometimes stacked two groups deep. Took 3 hours on the back. Yikes. Great shape though.
