About
The Resort at Port Ludlow sits along the shores of the Puget Sound with views that stretch across the Port Ludlow Bay. Located just 90 minutes from Seattle, the resort offers a luxurious waterfront inn, a marina, an award-winning restaurant, and a championship 18-hole golf course. Robert Muir Graves designed the course. He crafted a layout that challenging but rewarding, all while preserving the beautiful natural surroundings. The golf course is just one of 10 in the state of Washington that is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. During your round, you'll enjoy abundant wildlife and panoramic views of the Hood Canal and Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. The golf course isn’t long but it's tight and will require both accuracy and strategy. Many holes are dramatically sloped and there are hazards facing you at almost every turn.

Golfer Reviews
This course a great course*
We played Monday8-24-2026 at 10:30, i have a state handicap card
they are not handicap compliant so i couldn't get close to green.
The gentlemen working the desk was kind of standoffish
the lady was nice.
i would of gave this course a 10 out of 10 but we got no warning how wet the course was and ton of sand on the greens. The front 9 was soaked all 9 holes # 8 hole was the worse i putted on that hole and ball had a roster tail on it.
The staff didn't say a word about the front 9 how bad it was i would love to come back and play it again when its not super wet and the greens are not full of sand.
they have great views and the course was beautiful.
Next time i will call to ask about the course shape before playing.
Great layout and views
Great course. Dog legs both ways, uphill and downhill holes, great and varied par 3’s. Course was in good shape. Pace of play was right on 4 hours. Always enjoy this course. $120 with a cart.
One of my favorites
The course is set in a very peaceful place. It’s quiet, and just beautiful. The course has a challenging but playable layout. For walkers, the climb up 9 and 18 is no joke. I was disappointed that on this very warm day, there was not water on the course. The one “fountain” tasted like salt water. Yuk. And no cart service. But I’ll be back for the excellent golf.
Great day, felt like a walk/hike in the mountains. The starter/marshall was pleasant and helpful!
Classic NW American Coarse
Rolling Hills, blind tee shots, massive trees, well kept.. The greens were smooth, the rough was rough but not crazy, if you hit the fairway your lie is perfect. Great course.
Challenges decision making
Good course, safe routes but you have to consider your shots. Rewards precision. Not terribly long but lots of hills, blind shots and doglegs to make you work for it. No on course water and no drink cart so bring your own. Stopping at the turn is not super realistic if it is busy at all
Fun course and Great Food
Always a great day trip to play Port Ludlow. I was really impressed with food and staff. After 20 years of playing at Ludlow the food at the turn was an bonus to an all ready great course
Great Day!
Couldn’t have had a better day on the course. Never ran into the players in front of me and never had anyone come up behind me. Peaceful beautiful courses with some challenging holes. A little wet but to be expected this time of year.
Beautiful course
Ludlow plays wet, you will loose a few balls, great course, good greens !
