Par-3 at Mill Creek Golf Club

I play this course at least annually and find it extremely challenging. With 19 mph sustained winds it was brutal, but fair. There weren't many people on the course and we had a 4some so played at our pace and had a great time.

Play was a little slow as the foursome in front of us appeared to be playing a big money match. There were two of us behind them and they kept up to the group in front of them so we didn’t mind but that didn’t last. I think one thing that might have slowed things down a bit is the length of the rough which looked to be about 6-7” long. I think it doubled in length from the previous week and definitely caused me some problems especially around the greens as I couldn’t judge what the ball was going to do. The greens were rolling nicely and the fairways were great. A couple of the par three tee boxes were pretty beat up and needed new placements while a few had been aerated and required clean up which was happening while I played.

This course is so nice. The layout is great. The holes are all interesting. The conditions are always great. The employees are friendly and helpful. I can say enough good things about this course.

Even with 2” of rain the night before the course had drained off pretty well. The cart path only made it longer with people having to walk over to play their next shot. The greens were a bit slower but rolled pretty well.

The only issues that I had were with a couple of tee boxes that hadn’t had the blocks moved in a couple days as the areas were pretty chewed up and , of course, the golfers were were piles of divots on the tees and didn’t bother to replace them or use the divot fill containers on the carts. Some of the tees were nicely repaired with sand by the grounds crew. The pace of the round slowed down around the 6th hole as some sprinklers turned on for the 7th fairway causing a wait and I assume that something incorrectly triggered them to turn on

I always enjoy playing at Mill Creek! It offers a fun yet challenging layout. Staff was friendly. We played on a humid day with threats of T-showers all day. It was a miracle we didn't get rained on. Play this course and you won't be disappointed.

Course was in Beautiful Condition, the pace of play was perfect for my early morning round, and the greens are rolling true and fast. This is my favorite Rochester course and I will keep coming back again and again even though it's a 40+ minute drive. Highly Recommend!

Everything from the tees to the fairways/rough to the greens were in good shape. This is my first round of the year here this year (haven’t been able to play much) so I didn’t know what to expect especially after the super hot weather we’re coming off of. The only thing of note were a couple of fairway bunkers (# 7 & 13) that had rocks in them.

Great course (except for the 18th hole). A bit of a disappointing finishing hole to an amazing course. But, overall it was a great course in pretty good condition with spectacular views. Great piece of property that was developed nicely into a challenging golf course. The guy in the golf shop could be a bit more welcoming. It seemed like we were interrupting his day.

Mill Creek is my favorite Rochester area course! The course was in excellent condition, had superb fairways, and greens rolled true. Staff were friendly and professional. I drove 40 minutes to get here and it was worth every minute. Only wish I lived closer as I would be happy to join here and be a member at Mill Creek.
