Lakelands Golf Club

I played alone along with my partner watching in the cart, we have done a few courses on the Gold Coast and this I up there as the best so far. I will love playing a competition here soon in the future.

Good presentation considering the recent weather conditions, some bunkers out of play, great layout and good pace of play. Facilities and welcoming staff made it a very good days golf.

One of the better courses on the Gold Coast with a challenging layout and some very visually attractive holes. Fairways were in good condition although the greens and tees are undergoing maintenance ATM and were very, very poor. Large areas around the greens had been relaid/re-seeded and covered with a thick layer of fine, loose sand. These areas were not marked as GUR although they were not suitable for play. The greens had been line scarified and heavily sanded. In a number of cases the green’s surface was just a thin layer of sand - no grass to be seen. Putting was a lucky dip - on one green the ball ‘broke’ 45 degrees off line just before the hole.

While we understand courses have regularly scheduled maintenance, they and GN should make it clear that the course is nowhere near fair condition BEFORE they accept full payment for a round.

I was one of the last groups to tee off before they shut the course to conduct major renovations to the greens and other parts to the course .

Still highly rate this course , it’s one of the best on the Gold Coast .

Always in good condition apart from two greens currently needing attention. The layout is a class above it’s neighbouring courses and one of the best on the Gold Coast.

Waited 20 years to play this course, very disappointed. For the price it is not even close to worth it. The greens were horrible, the cart paths were atrocious. The price of beer in the club house was outrageous.

Totally disappointed, I've wanted to play here for 20 years. For the cost of this course I'm very deflated. Value for money is not there at all, course condition was bad, greens were bad, paths were horrendous or non existent. Price of beer in the clubhouse was ludicrous

Course was great although green condition was very average. Found groups ahead were slow and did have any basic golf etiquette.

Group ahead was slow and had a small child running across the fairways. Group appeared to not have played golf before and groups following had so experience so the round was very slow as a result.

Bunkers were not raked by golfers and green ball marks not repaired. Very sad for such a good course.

Course was in good condition but after taking really 4.5 hours to play 16 holes we gave up on the last 2 holes unfortunately. No marshall to be seen all day

Really great layout and challenging holes. Condition of greens, gardens and fairways was spot on and amenities great. They need to something about the first cut of rough. Not being able to find your ball in the first cut after rolling slightly off fairways is criminal. Lost 3 balls on 9 holes that way. Extremely difficult to hit out of it too.

Overall, great course but prefer The Glades for the money, layout and playability.

I live in New Caledonia and I have booked a tee times for my wife a friend and me but I was sure that I had reserved on Friday at 13.50 but I have seen this morning that I had booked a tee times for yesterday

Can you please confirm me that it is lost .

I had also booked yesterday with GolfNow and have played at the glades . We leave on Saturday but if you can replace it whenever this week it would be very kind .
