Greens have not recovered from the recent aeration.

I did not have the best experience, however, I would say overall the golf course/resort/amenities were nice. Unfortunately I played on a day after rain in the area and frankly I wish I had not played. The course was completely soaked, puddles on every tee box and fairway and there was no heads up given or discount provided. Additionally, my cart was completely shot. As I approached the starter I had mentioned I noticed an issue with the cart and he dismissed my concerns. I ended up spinning out twice going down the hill on hole 1 (pretty serious spin outs almost lost control) and then the cart died in between holes 13-14 going uphill. After the round I spoke with a manager about my experience and again she seemed to dismiss my concerns, saying they were unaware the course was not in good playing condition and the issues with my cart were probably due to my driving. Ultimately, they did provide me with a “rain check” for the value of my round, so I am appreciative of that and will be giving it another shot in the future. Did not bother to explore much else due to the frustration of this day, but pro shop was nice and the amenities appeared nice from what I saw. On a normal / dry day I do think WT would be worth playing. Just be wary.

Greens were in rough shape. I play this course 3-4 times a year. I have never seen the greens and tee boxes in this rough of shape.

Even at $73 GN hot deal in the afternoon after an outing, it's the typical way overpriced Crystal Springs course. Conditions average at best. It amazes me that people plop down twice what we paid to play here. After covid, Crystal Springs prices doubled and tripled and people still seem ok with it.

I was looking forward to playing Wild Turkey after reading good things. Unfortunately, the course conditions ruined the experience for me. I don't mind paying $150+ for rounds of golf, but at that price point, I expect a solidly manicured course with greens that roll true and bunkers with sand. Wild Turkey was none of those things. It's not bottom of the barrel, but the conditions were close to that of your average $30 muni. Greens were spotty/shaggy, tee boxes were uneven, sand was non-existent in bunkers. Fairways were probably the only thing that were average.

It's unfortunate because the layout and views are actually pretty good and it would be an enjoyable play if they actually took care of the course. Icing on the cake was the starter telling us the course is in fantastic shape before we teed off. He was a nice guy, but I don't know how he said it with a straight face.

Until they get a new greenskeeper, take your money elsewhere.

Course gets a lot of play. It’s a little expensive. And the tee boxes are scruffy- divots and uneven. High grass on the tee. Mediocre conditions -Especially given the price. Staff is great though and the views are worth seeing
