The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, centrally located on McMullen Booth Road a comparably short course, offering just 5,454 yards from the blue tees and a slope rating of 118. Most of the fairways are wide, making errant shots still playable. In essence, it is the ideal place to work on your golf game, to correct that nasty slice or learn to hit that oversized driver without fear of losing 100 balls. As a result, it is a favorite among novice golfers who want to be challenged but also have an enjoyable round.

Chi chi greens WoW
It’s a nice layout with some water and numerous bunkers to complement the entire 18.
The Greens well better than half of the greens were rolling at nuclear speed with the slightest touch of you putter. Hit a green in Regulation good luck if you apex is as high as Mickelson, if not good luck with scoring.
Short but Challenging
The course was short but challenging. It requires you to think you way around the course. Missing the fairways make it hard to hit the lighting fast greens in regulation. The greens were fast, slopes but held approach shots from the fairways. Take your time and look at the putts from every angle or be prepared for a 3 putt.
Wednesday at Chi Chi’s
Decent golf course; fun to play and challenging.

Personnel are excellent, friendly and very helpful.
Course is well designed and play is smooth.
Wet and windy
It rained all morning and we played at noon. The course was cart paths only but conditions were good. About hole #13 they lifted the cart path only rule. Pace of play was great but due to the conditions of the day it was not busy.
Chi Chi Play
I can’t say I played that well, but every time I play Chi Chi’s I like it a little bit more. There are a few holes I wish they would make easier, but you can’t always have what you want. The course is laid out nicely and the green are the Perfect speed and more importantly they are consistent!. I keep going back to Chi Chi’s because I keep thinking I’m going to drive and putt well on the same day on the same holes! You’ll need to manage your game here and not try to over power the holes. Professional and very friendly staff makes them atop the leaderboard Every Round! They try to accommodate your needs and are exceptionally nice folks who truly want an excellent golf outing for you. You will see me there again next Wednesday!

Shot makers course. Greens roll very well. In good shape. Very nice people.
Not bad
Course conditions were ok. I played here because I saw some good reviews recently and the course was ok. It’s just like your normal municipal course, nothing too exciting. The greens were a little fast for a muni which was great. All in all I’m not sure I’d come back unless there was a drop in price.
The best part is there was no one in front of us so we played in an easy 3 hours which made the round so much more enjoyable.
Enjoyable round.
Nice staff. Fast greens. Very dry conditions made holding the green a challenge.
