Providence Golf Club

Everything regarding the course was very good. The issue is the golf carts gps. The cart stops like 50 yards before the green. Makes for very long walks. There is no going to the ball to check in chipping it hitting a lob shot. They need to program the carts better. It was 94 out when we played. Walking to the elevated greens etc took its toll. We didn’t finish the round it was getting way too much. The group behind me also quit. When you pay to play that course you shouldn’t have to walk that far to and from the greens. There also was an issue at the resturant. Our order wasn’t done correctly. Waited 45 min. To get fish and chips. The fish was to be cod. We cut into the cod it was all watery and mush like. Sent it back basically decided to leave. The course is great. I’ll try it again. But if the carts are the same I won’t be back.

I always enjoy playing here. Course is great that people are friendly and the pace is always awesome and there's lots of specials

Due to lack of a starter the 1st tee was a bit of a free for all and the pace was very slow with no sight of rangers checking on pace

Course was in great shape considering the lack of rain in the area.

Fairways for the most part were green .

Greens held good shots. Putting was a little slower compared to other courses in the area but in good shape.

Got a Golf Now rate of $59.00 which I felt was fair.

First time here and the course layout and conditions are fantastic right now for how dry it’s been here. Also the price is cheap for what you’re getting.

I’ve read about pace of play issues but we played the front in 2 hours and waited a little bit not too bad. The back was a different story altogether. 3 groups on the tee at 10 then by 13 the group in front of us decided to play with their 4 girlfriends in front of them as a 8 which slowed it down even more. Then on 14 we pull around and all the guys have their shirts off and played that way for multiple holes before someone called the pro shop on them. I don’t really care as long as they play fast and that wasn’t happening.

Regardless I’ll be back cause at this rate it’s a steal to play here now.

Challenging, lots of water , but fun

For this price I had no expectations, I was really happily surprised

5 stars all the way in my book

I’ve played in the past ..really nice course .club house really pleasant. Staff great .

BUT way too many Golfers .

Another 4 ball

We were the 4 th Group on the same Tee Box…

It took 1 HR 10 min to play 4 holes .

We turned around and came in .

I’m a 7 HCP & it was not going to be anything but Painful.

Providence didn't disappoint. It was a Sunday and the pace of play was excellent. Course is forgiving but challenging and has great variety in hole design.

Paired with three guys on a buddy trip, had a wonderful time. The course was in very good condition, the only downside was that the round took 5 hours.

No carts available until just before tee time which was 40 minutes late due to overbooking by pro shop. Almost a 6 hour round. One of the worst experiences on a golf course I’ve had in many many years.

We played years ago .Looked forward to playing again .But just way too busy .

Course jammers & Slow .

Golf course was in decent shape and pace of play was reasonable at 4 h 15 minutes. Started a bit late unfortunately. Paired up with 3 random players who were all good guys. Enjoyable round. Would recommend Providence Golf Club. Green fee rate was very reasonable.

We played at 720am so the morning dew was a bit thick but once everything dried out we all enjoyed the course
