Course has made improvements staff was nice. In better condition than when it was ridge wood lakes but still very rough. Minimal regular up keep like grass cutting and green rolling. Lots of bunkers but hardly a rake available. Greens were quick due to no grass but fae from smooth maybe roll them once in a while. It could be good but can tell owners won’t pay to have work done to bring it up to a 4 star track. Also an extremely hard course not for an occasional golfer. Layout is unique if money spent could be a nice place. .

Unfortunately the worse course that I ever played in the central Florida.

Living in Polk Cty we are pretty spoiled with the number of courses we have. Played here last in June of this year. Course was wet and many greens were a mess. Whatever they did between then and now...Bravo! Course is challenging by the fact the fairways are guarded by bunkers and water on most holes. Greens appeared to have recently be verticut, but rolled fine. Saw the beverage cart at least 4 times. I will be back sooner than 6 months!

Starter told us it was an extremely hard course. But it didn’t really seem real tough couple of demanding holes but a fun course at that. Food was also great recommend it

The address was wrong and sent me to a dead end. Had to ask around for directions. Was late for T time but was allowed to play

It was a challenging course with very intricate fairways and greens, everything was well managed and I couldn’t be happier with my experience, first ace of my life was on 13 and that’s a memory I’ll always have.

A friend & I make a golf trip every year at this time from out of state. We just played 54 holes at White Heron yesterday, and concluded it’s one of our favorite courses in the area. First, the course itself is just fun to play because it has challenging holes along with some relaxing holes to help you with your overall score. Perhaps equally important is how friendly the staff is. With playing 54 holes starting with the very first tee time, they were very accommodating in working us in for our 2nd & 3rd rounds, and they were very kind to give us a great replay discount. We look forward to playing here again next year. (I would have given 5-stars on the course condition however they were re-seeding all fairways. I’m confident next year it will be in perfect condition.)

multiple leaking irrigation heads on multiple holes lack of drainage for golf course bunkers full of weeds like hitting out of the ruff car path, broken and multiple areas bridge crossing water, planks rotting out and breaking as you drive over it very unsafe

Th course was in great condition with the exception of one or two fairways struggling with insect infestation but easy to drop on grass not a problem, greens good tees fair staff great pros shop and bar

I wasn't sure about the weather so decided to play here as I knew the course could handle some rain. I played here 12 months ago & while the fairways were in good condition some of the greens were struggling. Regardless, it's a good layout which will challenge your game. Pace of play was excellent with the round taken less than 3.5 hours. Staff were friendly & I'll certainly play this course again in the future.

This is a great course, pretty challenging, you definitely need to know your club distances.

we enjoyed the course and played quickly for the first 9 we then got caught behind a three ball but enjoyed our day the greens were in great condition but some fairways have suffered from insect infection but it is all being dealt with.

Staff in pros shop and behind the bar all great overall a nice experience and we will return regularly

The fairways were super thin. The layout is odd and the greens were ok. The over all condition of the course was barely fair.

This was a very difficult course with narrow fairways, mini sand dunes in a lot of water. If you’re a straight shot, it’s a great course and it’s beautiful. If you tend to zigzag, you’re going to lose a lot of balls. Wow it was a tough course. It was certainly beautiful and well-maintained. I would recommend this players who hit par and better.
