Superstition Course at Sunland Springs Village

The two highlights of our round, the course was cheap and the course was empty. Played Sunday of Memorial Day weekend just before 10 AM and did not see a single group ahead of us the entire round. That said, the course is in embarrassing shape. Maybe this was how the course always is, but for this time of year it’s rough. Fairways have large sections of dirt, tee boxes are hot or miss with decent grass, greens were fine some holes and trash other holes. Either they have a superintendent who doesn’t care, or they are just cheap and don’t want to maintain things. The layout is fine, our second nine ended our round on an average par 3, a fine hole, but not a worthy send off to finish the day. If prioritize low cost this is a great course, otherwise pay a few more bucks and play any of the other courses in the area. A shame too because it has great potential.

This course had a bad rap up previous owners but this new owner has worked hard to keep the course in pretty good condition.

It's not a fancy country club but it is a bit challenging around the turtle back greens. Your chipping and putting needs to be up to snuff to solve these greens.

It's not a long course either.

But what it is, is a lower priced surprise in a good way. Rounds are usually available and it is not crowded at this time of year. I would like to encourage people taking new comers out to play to start them here. You will have the time to work with them and they won't have to crush big drives to get to the greens. It doesn't take all day to play and it's not as easy as it looks.

They wisely have a 90 degree rule and a no driving carts on par 3's so maybe this course will survive the hot arizona summer.

We liked the course layout but it felt like nobody had watered the course in weeks. Maintenance is badly needed. We would not return without knowing the the course was being adequately maintained.

First time playing here. Pro shop man was great. Actually teed off early. Enjoyed the round and was done in 3 hours. Only negative to me was price. Thought it was a little expensive for an executive course.

Course conditions was average at best. Staff was friendly. Good course for short game and players that don't drive the ball long.

Played Four Peaks 9 holes with with my wife and her friend The woman both beginners thoroughly loved it. Wide fairways and not much trouble tee box to greens. Greens are in great shape and well manicured. Good for my short game.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they really make you feel welcomed. Course was in nice shape.

The best conditioned course I have played this winter. Very enjoyable.

Really nice facility. A little pricier than some but definitely worth ithe $$.
