About

Located in Mesa, Desert Sand Golf Course is an executive length course with a short layout that is most suitable for beginners, but it is also a good place for golfers of all skill levels to work on their short game skills. Due to its flat terrain, the course is easy to walk with few elevation changes. The greens are remarkably fast and water hazards come into play on five holes. There are also sand bunkers scattered throughout the course. The Desert Sand Golf Course facility offers a chipping area and putting green and it is also home to a golf school.

I see the potential

Only real issues were the wind and the shaggy conditions...we understood...looking forward to playing next time we're in town

Very very nice

Friendly helpful staff. Really nice shape for only having been open for play after overseeding for 5 days. Not as easy as it looks. Super terrific value.

Go anywhere else

Not even close to worth the money. Terrible course management. Teed off 40 minutes late and they were sending the next group right when the green cleared. No reason an executive course should take 5 hours. Will never be back

Overseeding

The course is looking good. It was very dry as they were about to start overseeding the course. Looking forward to the new grass coming in.

Great course for beginners.

Me and my girlfriend went here for her birthday for her first time golfing ever. The course layout was absolutely perfect for her to enjoy yet provide the challenge. I personally loved it for the price it’s really one of the best beginner courses I’ve been on.

Good value for a quick round

This time of the year the course is all but empty most of the day, so pace of play is rarely an issue. The punched the greens recently so putting was tough, but this course is always ready to go, year round. I have been playing here regularly for over five years now and have not been disappointed once.
