About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Golfer Reviews
Good course layout, mostly ok conditions
Good greens, some bare spots with drought or disease damage. Tee boxes in below average to average condition. Average to good fairway conditions. Mostly wide-open layout with plenty of water alongside many fairways. Friendly staff and good to very good amenities. I’ll play there again and would encourage friends and family to as well.
Renaissance Golf Club – Overall Experience
Me and my Wife had the opportunity to play Renaissance Club yesterday, and overall it was a great experience.
The course was very well maintained, and the staff was outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. The greens were rolling fast, which was a pleasant surprise. Many courses in this price range don’t offer greens that are in such great condition, so that definitely stood out.
The layout is excellent, providing a fun and challenging round without feeling overly difficult. The only downside is that the driving range is not located close to the clubhouse or first tee, making warm-up a little less convenient.
Overall, Renaissance Club offers a great golfing experience with excellent course conditions, fast greens, and exceptional customer service. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to playing there again.

Disappointment
I followed the GolfNow rating of 4 stars. This rating was very misleading. The course is in very poor shape and lack of maintenance is evident everywhere you look. The greens are bare in several areas and pin positions are damaged, some severely. Pace of play was fantastic since very few people were on the course. Highlight of the day, the proshop and staff were outstanding. No I would not recommend this course to anyone. Overall rating = 2 stars. Very low value proposition based on the $59 green fee
Disappointment
I followed the rating on GolfNow of 4stars. The rating was terribly misleading. The course is very poorly maintained. For instance, the hole positions have not been maintained and most are damaged, some severely. The greens have many bare spots. Fairways are sparse in some places. I would give this location 2 stars only because the proshop and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Bright spot, pace of play was great, 2:45 for 18 holes. There were very few players here! Pass on this course for now, too many options in the area that are a much better value
Starter needs a refresh
The course is in decent shape for us having hardly any rain this year.
The starters need to either do the job or just move out of the way.
I've experienced some really bad starters at the course over the years.
Was going to write my last encounter, but I know nothing will be done about it, I'll just wait in eager anticipation until my next round at the course.
I believe the starters at Renaissance and other courses require an ounce of entitlement to carry out their job. I want you to know you are just a starter, that's all, just a starter.
Absolutely beautiful course
The course was in great shape all around. I havent played this course in many years and was very glad i did. Definitely look forawrd to playing it again.
Disappointing
This was my first time and likely my last time playing this course. For $60 per player, I expected the course in a much better condition. For the current condition, I would have expected to pay around $30. No beverage cart person. Staff was fine.
I would play elsewhere until I know it is in good shape. Just not worth the money.
dry dry dry
green are dry and yellow! course no green grass at all! Doesn't worth it!
Drought conditions
I’ve played this course many times. It’s in the worst condition I’ve ever seen it in. I’m hoping it’s only due to the recent drought we’re in. The fairways are baked out and EVERY green was slow with several sanded repair patches throughout.
Give it sometime to recover.
Course is in bad shape
The course is in the worst shape that I ever seen. Fairways, tee boxes & greens were brown, dry and bumpy. Severely in need of water.
Disappointing at best. Greens are horrible… they are close to losing them all together. Huge bare spots just filled with sand. Bunkers in sad shape…. It seems they are doing just enough to keep this course open. Conditions are not good at all. Will not play here again.
Good course for the money
Overall, this was a good value ($67) compared to what other similar courses at the same price point in the area are. It's obviously a bit dry with so little rain right now, but everything was very playable. The greens had recently been punched but were otherwise in good shape. It's not the most memorable course ever in terms of layout, but it's worth playing for those looking for solid conditions at this price.
