Sienna Plantation Golf Club

I had read a few reviews of Sienna Plantation and had relatively low expectations, but they were exceeded. When writing a review, I do factor in the cost., and this one scores high. For the money, this is a very good value. The couse is in good shape. Surprisingly more brown than I would have expected given the last two months of rain, but this did not affect our play in any way. I would encourage you to book a time her.e.

Why does Sienna close the restaurant and bar so early? The bar/restaurant closed at 2pm. Most close at 5 or 6.

Good course, enjoyed it; would have been great if not for cart path only rule on the day we played.

Course was in good shape. Got there before our 8:00 tee time was able to go out right away. Cary path only but expected that with the previous rain. Course drains well, greens rolled well.

Greens had actual tire tracks across them, tee boxes were uneven and had dozens of broken tees in them (8am tee time), water stations were completely empty… the list goes on. You can have a much better experience at similarly priced courses in Houston/greater Houston.

I live in Sienna plantation and have played this course 70 to 80 times. The owners of the course are doing exactly what they did to Greatwood, another course they own. Cart paths are all jacked up, so make sure you have an appointment with your chiropractor or masseuse the next day if you play here. Sand traps are in bad shape and there’s just lots of care. the course needs and it’s apparent it’s not getting it. We had a 2pm teatime and when we arrived, there were no golf carts available. When we turned on nine, it was over 90°F and only 4 PM and the clubhouse bar/restaurant, was already closed. The owner was sitting in there watching television, but bottom line is, we could not buy a bottle of water or anything else for that matter. We know the owner gave up a long time ago on providing decent food and beverage. I’ve lived out here for over 20 years and it’s only gotten worse. The golf course is convenient, but I’m now willing to drive outside of Sienna Plantation for a better experience. No idea when you have a full golf course why you would not have a beverage cart or at least keep the bar/restaurant open. And, there was a tournament on the course Friday and a couple of the holes still had their sponsorship signs out on Saturday afternoon! Unfortunately, the owner of this golf course has simply given up. Find someplace else to spend your time and money!

I’m fairly new to golf and not super picky. I enjoyed playing at sienna. Very pretty area too.

Decent course, fairly challenging. Unfortunately it’s has been raining a lot here and the course was swamped (not the courses fault but the general area). It was cart path only which made it tough for pace of play but understandable. I come here from time to time and it’s well maintained even for the water.

Challenging while still a good course for beginners. Number of holes make you think and make good club choices. Great condition.

First time playing Sienna and I was pleasantly surprised. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape, and the layout of the course was enjoyable. I would recommend this place to a friend and will definitely play here again.

Fairways need a little work and I believe the green on #6 looked like it had just had some repairs. All in all, love playing here. Got to play with my son and they offer a junior rate!
