Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

nice course for Stqrters
i really enjoyed playing here again. My daughter hadn't played and there was no one on the back nine.
You get what you pay for
$70 for 18 and a cart is a good deal but that's about the only good thing about this course. The greens are small, tee boxes are very beat up, and the course is extremely tight and demands a lot of accuracy if your not playing a short hole. The staff is extremely friendly and it's cool that they allow carry on drinks on the course.
Not Friendly
We were a twosome that arrived before sun rise. We asked about getting our early if possible. WE HAD A CART. The answer was a resounding no, you have a tee time. So the first twosome was an older couple WALKING! We waited for our tee time and enjoyed the other two in our group. THE GREENS ARE REALLY SMALL. Course conditions were bad, beat up tee boxes, many areas of exposed soil. If you like short, beat up golf courses, and SPICY attitude, this is the place for you.
Too small of greens!
I enjoy a long ball, large green game. This course is great for senior play, but it is not a course for a gamer who needs a large green to setup a good put. Greens were bumpy and some areas needed work.
