Hibiscus Golf Club

Enjoyed our round at Hibiscus. Course was in good condition. Not overly challenging design. Staff is very efficient and yet friendly.

Great play. First tee time, paired with two others who were of similar ability. Course was in great shape in lung the traps. The greens were slow but thry have to be to survive there humid tendencies in southern Florida??? While staying in Marco Island this is one of the few opportunities to play a public course in a decent travel concern. It is my understanding they will be going private in June 2026, which I was sorry to hear. I enjoy playing here and it offers the right amount of problems for me, that being not too many but enough to test your abilities…. The price of green fees in southern Florida in February is very costly but it is what it is.

I had booked a twosome on GolfNow. My playing partner texted me the night before saying he had to cancel due to back issues. I called Hibiscus at 7:15am the morning of our scheduled round and requested to cancel one of my two slots. The woman I spoke to could not have been nicer - she graciously cancelled the one tee time without a charge.

Staff was very friendly, greens and sand traps were in very good shape. Enjoyable 4:15 round. For Naples public courses, this should be put in your rotation.

Course was in pretty good shape considering amount of rounds played daily. Greens were in pretty good shape. The early morning dew made them slower as it dryed out was a bit better. Greens had nice roll outs.

The course conditions were very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Everything was as expected when you play in February in Florida

We had the first tee time at 7:05. Barely enough light but staff was very helpful and accommodating. Course conditions very good. Greens fair and not too fast.

Had to quit at 10 because they turned on the sprinklers which sprayed on us on the tee box and while putting. The next hole was worse.

We had a great round at Hibiscus. It was good to get out and this was a good course for our first round of the year. They have nice wide fairways not too much water but plenty of sand and the greens have more break in them than they look particularly close to the hole. Sorry to hear they are soon going private. The area close to Marco needs more public courses. But this wa a fun morning.

I’ve played Quail Run many times. It’s a more traditional 60’s style course which will test your short game. Sometimes the pace of play in season is slow but it’s a great value. The staff are always friendly and accommodating.. I’ve seen the course conditions improve greatly in recent years.

Having not played yet this year we found this course a great starter course. The fairways are wide and forgiving. Greens roll true but are a little tricky. We had a great time.
