TPC Treviso Bay

If your an above average golfer this is the spot . Every time I come here it’s always dialed in. Layout has water everywhere. Chose the tees and yardage you want to play from wisely. This is a great test of golf. Greens are money

This course is only open to public after May 1. I joined another single. We got paired with a member. On the first tee he described the course in one word UNFORGIVING.

Titleist range balls , wonderful short game practice area. Greens were rock hard compared to most I play. I hit 2 greens and ball rolled off into water.

I doubled my handicap but would go back in a heart beat.

I find it amazing that the last review in this course in this forum was 2022.

One negative was the $6.95 credit card processing fee I was not told about prior to paying.

Played the course first time in 2013. there was no clubhouse, no facilities. the went into bancruptcy.

but today everything is great. a A wunderful Clubhouse with an excellent Restaurant, a good Proshop with a great selction. And the course is one of Arthur Hills masterpieces. You allways have to have a plan for your teeshot. And also your next shot has to be planned weighing the risk and thinking what can happen. We enjoyed the course absolutely. A great design in excellent condition.

Got to the course this morning an hour ahead of my 9:45am tee time only to be told by the security woman that the course was closed. I said “hmm I called last week and they booked me a tee time for today at 9:45am, this was the first day open after closure for maintenance”…she disagreed so I called the clubhouse whilst waiting at the gate, only to be told by said clubhouse employee that they had extended the Maintenance period for another 4 days! Would have been nice to get a phone call to let me know so I wouldn’t have wasted my time driving out there and could have booked a different tee time somewhere else. Nice to know that in the future if I’m back in the area to try somewhere else since this place couldn’t care less about non members who are willing to fork out $200 bucks a round.

The good

-The tee boxes were immaculate.

-The fairways were immaculate.

-The greens were nice to chip on and putt on.

-The staff was friendly.

-The practice range, putting green, and chipping area were all good.

The bad

-The course layout was a little boring. There weren't any memorable holes or shots you had to make.

-The practice bunker had 5 inches of fluffy sand in it. The bunker on the course had 1/2 inch of sand with dirt under it. This led to a lot of thinned shots until I realized the sand was just for show. (there was a lot of rain lately so maybe this was why)

-The greens were really firm. Any approach shots that were low would bounce and roll a lot. I didn't see any ball marks on the greens.

- On a hot day I didn't see a cart girl once.

-The snack shop only had hot dogs and sandwiches despite the gps screen showing cheeseburgers and fries. For such a nice place you would have expected a little more.

Overall it was a nice experience. Luckily I got to play at a discounted rate. But I wouldn't go back because the layout was just too plain.

Wow-What a disappointment!! The bottom line is this is just a typical Florida course. Flat with a lot of water. My problem is we paid $210 dollars a piece (we spent $1,200 the whole day with food and greens fees) and they didn't mention to us that the greens were punched and sanded-very hard to putt-very bumpy!! I understand they need to work on the course, but just tell us, then I can make the decision to play or not!!! The rest of the course was fine-just nothing special at all. Would not go back!!!

Always a pleasure playing at tpc treviso. nice layout and challenging holes with fast greens.

I come to Naples, Fl once a year and this course is a must play. The new club house is beautiful with excellent food services. The course is top five on my list of courses. The course is always in great shape, lush greens and well maintained fairways.

The greens were a little slower than usual but true. The rest of the course is always fantastic. Such a great course to play.

Course was in excellent shape, the way you would expect a TPC course. Great facility, one of the best I have played. I would definiety recommend this course for other golfers.

You have to know the rules!

It was a biiiiiig problem, to have my wife as a rider without playing! After 5 minutes discussion they changed my teetime , so we were a group of 3 players! They don‘t alloow 3 carts on the course! Shirt has to be worn in pants , not hanging out , no problem! But when You are waitng after a group of 3 on every hole, you pick up a single player , you are 4 and 3 carts ! So what???

The course layout is very good. But the greens were not even close to any standard of a TPC course. They were very bumpy with evident top soil dressing on top trying to smooth it out, honestly the ball could not stay on line it would bump and roll. Asked the pro shop and they just said it is a little slow. For a end of November condition !!

Played this awesome course on a nice day with little wind. Played the blue tees which had a slope of 150...and it played every bit of that. Course was in great shape. Water on most holes with a challenge for driving accuracy. Typically water and/or scrub on both sides of the fairway. Greens rolled true and were somewhat fast. Almost broke 80 so I was pretty happy. Must play in the area.
