Course layout is great but needs attention to greens

Was very disappointed at how poorly the greens putted. Been playing here for years, guess the drought has had an impact, but they were very slow and very bumpy

Course had just been airiated and sanded, not bad , enjoyed the course,

Traveling back north to Ohio from Florida, had to stop in Panama City Beach, this course is at the top of my list

This was my mine and my 16 y/o sons first time playing this course. $165 for 2 people riding 18 seemed quite expensive for a round of golf, but we had never played it and what's vacation for if you don't splurge, right? We quickly realized why it cost what it did!! Going through a security gate was our first impression, actually had to ask the guard if we were in the right place. After a friendly conversation, we were assured we, in fact, were in the right place. The clubhouse was your typical clubhouse with super friendly staff who answered all our questions and needs. We arrived early so we grabbed lunch from the bar. Shrimp tacos were so delicious, sweet tea was perfect and the bar tender was awesome! After we ate it was time to grab the cart and check in, again we were early so we hit up the range for FREE! All the balls you wanted to hit, at no extra cost. After a nice warmup it was time to golf. The staff did inform us, PLENTY of water and PLENTY of houses throughout this course, which made it extremely tough to navigate. We played the #3 tees which were not the easiest nor the hardest, but man what a challenge! The layout was absolutely gorgeous, a plethora of sand, water, trees and houses along with roads everywhere! The course was designed by the GREAT, Jack Nicklaus himself!! By the 4th hole my son was ready to quit golf forever but I talked him into sticking it out. There was a beverage cart which provided whatever we wanted, which, for us, was simply Gatorade and ice to restock our cooler. She was extremely friendly as well. We ended up catching the group in front of us, who had never played the course either, they offered to let us play through, which we kindly declined because there was another group in front of them and we were in no big hurry. The entire course was so beautifully put together and laid out. If you're looking for a great round of golf and want a challenge, Bay Point is DEFINITELY the course you need to play. We will be back again and again for sure. Thank you for such a pleasant experience for my son and I!!

Our group played this morning without knowing thar the greens had been created and sanded. They were not even close to smooth. They also had clumps od dirt and grass in places.

The whole place is in great condition. Everybody was super friendly and we played in under 4 hours.

Course is in really good condition, a challenging course that put your skills to the test and well groomed. Staff was very helpful, will come back and play again.

This course is so good, I loved playing here! Greens are amazing this time of year. Hole 5 has the best view of the water. Staff was very helpful and communicative. Food next door (at Neons) was the best way to end our day at the course. If you haven't played here already, I highly recommend!

Staff picked you up at your car, loaded your clubs, at the end wiped the clubs off they were very friendly. The course itself is very challenging with a lot of hazards around but the course was kept in great shape and was a great experience.

Course needs work. Bare spots in fairways and around walk off areas. Poor maintenance overall. Greens were as fast a shag carpet.... not good at all. Looks like they have some disease, as well as bare spots and weeds growing in on most of the 18 greens. Solid layout that needs some love to bring it back.

Course was beautiful and well taken care of. LOTS OF WATER! Scenic and a lot of fun.

Greens had been aerated and sanded/shelled. Lots of repair being done around the course forcing tee boxes to be moved/modified. In a few cases actually teeing off from bare dirt. Layout is outstanding, but conditions are not worth the cost. It should be no more than $75 in this case. Putting is a mystery with these greens and the blend(not intentional) of grasses.

Poanna grass sprigs all over the greens, made them bumpy, tee boxes under repair and or getting resodded.

Bunkers i were in were not consistant, different types of sand. For the normal rate of $130 i would not pay that much for this course. This is much like a higher end municipal golf course just with jack nicklaus's name on it. It was in better shape 30 years ago as the lagoon legend
