About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Golfer Reviews
Nice but tough course!
Exceptional but demanding course! Would recommend for all. Don’t have to be long, but better be straight!
Great course
A beautiful course that can’t be beat for the price with the special on Golf Now.
Beautiful Course
We played as a foursome today at this beautiful course. The course is very difficult. I read reviews before heading there to see they had aerated the greens recently and but they are rolling great. Something else I read was to bring plenty of golf balls. In reading that I thought to myself “i don’t need anymore than what I have, my swing feels great”. I soon found out that was a mistake. When the gentleman up in the pro shop asks you “do you want any range balls?” say yes. Go grab your bucket but don’t use those on the range. Save yourself $60 and don’t use your new ProV1s you got as a birthday gift. Use the range balls. Overall amazing course, but don’t be surprised when you get in the car and count up your strokes and it says 110 like myself today.
Nice track
Super nice surface and layout was challenging but fun.

Overall I had a wonderful time. Take plenty of balls with you. You’ll probably need them. Greens were aerated earlier in the week but due to excellent greens keeping they were still playable. Fairways are tee boxes were in great shape and the numerous sand traps were well maintained.
Good layout
The course itself is a good layout, nice fairways and great greens. It’s a tight course so be sure to hit it down the fairway. Easy to lose your golf ball if you don’t. Trust me, I lost plenty of them. Friendly staff. Highly recommend playing this course.
Absolutely amazing course
Some of the nicest greens I’ve played in a long time. Course was in pristine condition. Awesome ey
Tough course for a high handicapper
The course is really nice. Fairways and greens were immaculate. However, this is a tough course for high handicapper. If you miss the fairway there’s a good chance you’re not finding your ball so bring plenty of extras. There is water on almost every hole aw well.
First timer
As far as courses go it was an excellent course. The starter had everyone bunched on top of each other which made for and less than average experience. The pace of play was non existent. It was a constant shoot and wait. The entire round was extreamly long due to this. I would like to come back but definitely not during peak summer.
Beautiful and Challenging
This course was very beautiful with great course conditions. A few dry spots marked as ground under repair but overall fantastic conditions. The course is difficult with minimal forgiveness along the fairways but a fair challenge for any golfer, I would not miss playing here if you get the opportunity!
Fun and challenging
This was a great and challenging course. Greens were fast so be patient and take your time. Had to use my driving iron for some of the holes cause of the layout. Did better on the back 9.
Best greens in the area
Great course. Need to hit it straight and on the green if not need to bring some extra balls. Greens rolling pure. Love the greens if you like fast smooth greens this is the spot.
Beautiful challenging course
Course is in great condition. Challenging course with tight fairways with dense rough. Had a great time will play it again
