Great layout, greens need some work
Overall I enjoyed playing the course. We played in about 4:20 as a foursome and waiting was minimal. Interesting layout, challenging without being ridiculous except #7 on the dunes. The peninsula/island green makes the approach very difficult. The fairways and rough were in good condition for Winter but the greens were slow, bumpy and inconsistent. Some were very soft, others very firm. It made putting and chipping difficult and inconsistent. I’ve played here in the past and the greens were much better. It might be the cold weather preventing proper cutting and rolling of the greens. Overall it was a very pleasant round. I would play here again.
continues ipeovement
There were only 2 greens that had small problem spots. The ones from the past have been repaired with transplants and have filled in nicely. their attention to detail is shown by their edging all of the cart paths The sand traps were all raked and clean. The engineer stake that shows the edge of an otherwise hidden part of a greenside pond is helpful for trying to avoid it. This is the best course in the area for the price they charge.
Dunes has fun rolling fairways
Overall a decent course. Fairways and greens were decent. Had a fun time. Enjoyed the layout.
Good value and nice layout
Enjoyed the course and teeing off early a nice pace of play. Greens had a few dead spots that generally didn’t affect play. Rest of the course was in nice shape. Definitely will come back
Awful Greens
Bare spots and crabgrass on the greens. Greens were also very slow
