Misty Creek Country Club

Misty creek was recommended by a co worker and it was everything he said. One of if not the best public courses in the area!

Considering the heat that this area of Florida has endured for quite some time, the course was in very good condition! Greens may have been a little slow, but overall, everything was very nice.

Beautiful course especially after renovations. Deer, turtles, wildlife everywhere.

Only wish bar / restaurants opened before 10am.

The conditions at Misty Creek were very good. Most courses have experience burn out due to a 5 month drought, not Misty Creek. I was very disappointed that the carts do not have GPS the greens were also a bit slow.

This course was in great condition,the green were fast and lots of wildlife around the course,will definitely play here again

Whenever I play a Misty Creek golf, it always reminds me of Jurassic Park. It is set back in Parkland areas away from houses. Part of the course does have houses on them, but most of it is set back in Parkland that are very dramatic and remind me of dinosaur land.

The course is typically in excellent condition. It plays a lot like a nice resort course with multiple challenges, but generally a fair golfing experience. When I have guests come to Sarasota, I usually take them to Misty Creek.

Misty Creek never disappoints. They have done a nice job re-sodding this course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in good shape. I'll play again for sure.

Course was in great shape with challenges on most holes. Saw deer on the edge of woods.

Had the opportunity to play twilight golf 3:00pm no one behind us, course was in great shape , staff very friendly! Would play again and tell our friends!!

Played a few times this winter and pace of play has usually been good. This time it was really slow. It was a group 3 tee times ahead of us. They had a person patrolling but he never speeded up the pace. Worth playing especially on a Hot Deal. The natural preservation around the course and cart paths are beautiful. Saw deer, several birds, and alligator.

Lots of new improvements really make the course a notch above. Highly recommend.

Enjoy the course, and have played it several times, but for whatever reason, pace of play was very slow on this day. We had to wait on almost every hole, which took away from our enjoyment of the round.

Tried Misty Creek for the first time yesterday to celebrate my birthday! So much fun! We got to play with the new greenskeeper named Terry for the first 9 holes - what a treat! The greens rolled true and the scenery (specifically the wildlife) was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our round at Misty Creek as we usually do when we visit Sarasota. The 2025 renovations turned out great, course is prettier and has better turf than before. Greens were a little slow this time out, but mostly smooth with the exception of a couple holes. We enjoy the nature preserve feel of the course and that on many holes you do not see any homes. Definitely a good choice in the Sarasota area.
