Willis Case Golf Course
About
Located in Northwest Denver, Willis Case Golf Course is an 18-hole, public course that is only a short distance from downtown. It is also across from the lovely Inspiration Point Park. The Rocky Mountains provide a beautiful backdrop for the course, which snakes through lush, beautiful trees. The golf course is 6,659 yards from its longest tees with a par of 72. The greens are small and the narrow fairways are sloping. Some well-bunkered holes call for very precise shot-making. There are no water hazards, but Willis Case Golf Course is still challenging and scenic. It is a popular choice not only for the picturesque views but also for the inexpensive and enjoyable game it provides.

The staff was very unprofessional and over welmed. Sam made nothing but excuses for the staff
Great Golf Day!
Had fun playing this course yesterday. Everything went well. Only issue was the girl checking us in trying to charge me a cart fee when one was already paid. She was persistent until another staff member let her know that the fee is usually paid when booking through Golf Now.

Good Value for Money
Solid course for the price, about $50 for 18 (cart included). Friendly staff and pace of play was solid for a public course. However, the layout of the holes was inefficient and the fairways and greens could use lots of TLC. Also, be warned, there is no driving range, only nets to hit into for warmup.

It’s been a hard winter on Willis
Unfortunately the ruts and trenches left from the new waterlines a few years back still crisscross the fairways. Grass is worn down to topsoil in spots. Hopefully the summer will bring the turf back but re-countour is out of the question. The clubhouse is definitely a big plus, however.

Favorite Denver Muni Course
I’m a big fan of this course. Early season conditions expected, but the greens were in good shape! For the money, this is one of my favorites (if I can ever get a tee time there)! Awesome layout.

The course survived this winter well
This was an early round for this winter. The offer of a reasonable rate with the Golfpass monthly discount made it reasonable to play on a weekend. The check-in was smooth, the hitting nets were decent enough, the starter was friendly, the course was in pretty good conditions given this winter. There were no dead spots in the fairways or greens. The greens rolled well and pretty fast. The pace of play was ~4h. Walking helped keep me warm. Good day

December Golf
Great time at Case. New clubhouse definitely a plus. Nice mountain vista from number one tee box. We were first off so the pace of play was outstanding until they sneaked in a walker in front of us on 10. Great sledding when I was a kid. Good golfing as a senior.
Better than expected conditions
It was a cold day forecasted, so I expected a light tee sheet, which materialized. The temps were 36F, and the leaves had mostly fallen, so I expected somewhat borderline conditions. I was quite pleasantly surprised to find the course in really quite good conditions. The groundskeepers were doing a good job with the fairways and greens. They were even doing quite well blowing the leaves away from the general playing areas...bonus in the fall! I walked to stay warm, which helped. With the light tee sheet, it made playing #11 and #16 feel safer, since they are pretty blind for walkers. The greens rolled quite fast, I guess that's normal for Willis Case. The course is pretty short, so it went quite quickly. I almost wished I had enough time for a second lap. The folks were very friendly, too.

Good value course.
For the money on a Sunday it was a fine round. The layout is challenging, but fair. Course is kept in good condition except for the tee boxes. The boxes are quite bad; it’s almost impossible finding a level stance on several of them. #2 and #3 are so bad my group moved to a different tee box.

All good except pace of play. Supposed to be 4 hours. Actually 4 hours 35 minutes.
