This course has really suffered with the prolonged dry weather. Some good and interesting holes but needs TLC in a few places - starting with topping up bunkers with sand and sorting out a few of the greens which are not in the best state.

had a 4 ball ahead playing extremely slow but all a factor in the price
fairways patchy but you have to be realistic for the price
Decent first time
Flat and Straight some tricker holes but not to bad for a walk and play.
Potential but current in poor condition
About 3 greens closed, so much surface water everywhere and lots of greens in a maintenance condition.

Great Course would play again
Due to the undulating greens some parts can be a bit water logged in winter but generally a great course layout, challenging with plenty of bunkers. Decent green fee although £7.50 feels steep to rent a push trolley but I’m new to golf so maybe that’s standard. Would like to come back to play in spring/summer when it’s dried up a bit.

Other than slightly bare fairways. This course is good condition. Immaculate greens and approaches
Great value for money
Fun course with variety of holes at par 70. Members are friendly and explained the course well. Fast greens when I played.
Pro shop was closed at 7AM so couldn’t check in. Fairways had a few missing patches of grass. Greens good quality

We played a 3 ball this week and even though there was a society in front ,the pace of play was OK.Course in good condition considering how dry it's been
Undulating fairways and sloping greens. A challenge for any level of golfer
Been 50 odd years since I played here lady
Been a few years the course besides getting older like myself. But can see they have put a lot of work to it. Lovely course fair for all types of golfer interesting and very picturesque. I thank all they staff I met very friendly. Can't wait to play again
Great course
Great course, great drainage of the course. I played when it was absolutely chucking it down and yet there was no muddy puddles or water logged greens. £40 could have asked for better value for money.

Nothing like the reviews no marshals shocking bad slow play gave up after spending nearly 2and a half hours on front 9 waste of money far better courses around
Really nice course
Nicely laid out - front and back 9 quite a different feel. Some areas suffering from a lack of grass growth due to the dry spring but generally good around the greens. if you don’t like undulating fairways then this course isn’t for you. Only moan is the bunkers - not enough sand and way too gravelly. One slightly damaged short iron from a buried sizeable stone aswell. Will definitely be back. .
