Just OK.

Played yesterday afternoon. Short game practice area was ok but nets and mats need replacing, full of holes and rips . Driving range was a good walk away from clubhouse and 1st Tee.

Signage was a little confusing, had to ask other players for directions to 1st Tee.

Tee boxes were good and mostly flat. Fairways were in poor condition though. If you hit the middle of fairway you expect a decent lie but grass was really uneven, bare patches all over, divots not replaced which made 2nd shots difficult even when on fairways. Greens were good and fairly true. Some were nice and undulating which makes for good interesting putting. Some Tee boxes are too close to other greens which means waiting foe people to putt out before teeing off. Creates a bit of a bottleneck. Overall just ok to be honest. Sorry, but won't be rushing back.

Always enjoy this course

Pace a little slow front 9 but generally a quick 18

Very rough greens (as always here) (and some challenging pin placements )

Some of the surroundings of the greens are a little barren with the dry conditions.

Worth a Visit

Nice course generally well maintained. Some difficult undulating greens all of which were pretty fast. No dramatic slopes so relatively easy to negotiate with a push trolley. Shop had run out of scorecards.

Lovely course

Great course. Tough in the high winds that we experienced.

Lovely greens.

Pro shop have the basics.

Pull cart hire £6.50. Expensive.

Clubhouse toilets offline for renovations.

No kitchen open after round and no real place to get food other than vending machines at the 10th. Pack some

Lunch if you play over lunch time. Will be back to try and beat my score.

Very good condition, tough green

It’s the first time to play. Fortunately the weather was outstanding, with that the course was so beautiful.

Each course has uniqueness, no single hole was boring instead lots angulation and wave like mound especially green was challenging. worth to play

Old Fold Manor GC.

Course is a well established parkland layout with some gorse bushes. Fairly easy walking, and overall condition was good. Greens were recently top-dressed, but were still smooth enough and pacey. Negative was the bunkers with a few too many stones around.

Some interesting holes with water coming into play on a few.

Nice half-way hut by the 11 th tee which was open.

First time playing and I was not disappointed

Played this course for the first time today, course was very dry under foot with only a couple of areas that were a bit wet. These areas were off fairway so didnt cause any issues. Tees and greens had recently been spiked and top dressed fso there was alot of sand on the greens. However, with that said, the greens were a good pace, and true. They were very firm but you could fly a ball into the green and it would stop.

The course layout offers a good variety of holes, lots of very long par 4s and tricky par threes.

For me the standout of this course is the design of the greens, you have to really think about each putt otherwise you are in 3 putt territory, you have to bring your A" game when it comes to putting or be prepared to be punished., at times commented " what the on earth do I do with this one"....this happend more than once...

Pro shop is very modern and well stocked with quality items. It's very much a private members club but it had a very relaxed feeling about it...

Greenkeepers were working around the course but turned engines off before shots were played, huge respect to the team of greenies for doing this...very respectful and didn't go unnoticed.

Can't wait to visit again when I'm intl the area...would highly recommend

Great Course

Enjoyed my round here, the setting is lovely and the amenities were great, nice old clubhouse feel. Given the time of year the course was in decent condition - the tee boxes and fairways were great but the greens were a little bumpy. My only real criticism was the pace of play. Considering I was a 1 ball it took me 4 and a half hours to get round. There were multiple 4 balls of old boys in front who flat-out refused to let anyone through and would take about 5 minutes to play 1 shot. It made for such a frustrating experience just standing at a tee box for 5-10 minutes at a time. The price of the round however was absolutely fantastic given the quality of the course.

Good test

Enjoyable course layout and variety of holes.. Greens require excellent standard of putting to score well. Dropped a lot of shots due to seriously undulating greens.
