Dartmouth Championship Course
Amazing course, tough but quite fair at the same time. Terrific round of golf, every hole was well designed and a joy to play.
Hire a buggy
Lovely course, really good fun, im a 25 handicap, its HARD but a worthy challenge. Just wish I had hired a buggy, lots of hills, i was exausted!
Quality course in quality settings
Fabulous layout, reminds me of courses in Spain (plus a few longer walks between greens and tees so be prepared or get a biggie!), almost every hole is well structured so you don’t see any alongside, highly recommended
Lovely surprise
Booked this course last minute at a great rate through GolfNow……
What a fantastic course. Great layout, tough test and fabulous condition.
It’s a long schlap around so electric trolley or buggy reccommended.
Can’t wait to come back knowing the layout
Don’t walk…..
A long slog!!
So up and down, don’t walk or you’ll be overtaken by members or visitors in buggies ( even the 20 somethings). Few memorable holes apart from the ridiculous 18th. - so you want to lose a ball? Don’t play it unless you are a pro!!
Lost count of the par 5s or seriously long par 4s- and they all look alike- boring really-doesn’t make you think about improving your game- just bash it as hard as you can.
Dartmouth
Challenging course more so after heavy rain in night and water still in most of bunkers.
Best to have a buggie but had to keep to paths
Well worth playing
Really nice course to play, but you will need a buggy 🛺
A great test but really enjoyable round. We will back!
Very challenging but enjoyable
Played here with my son, both of us singlevl figures, off white tees on a very hot day. Glad we decided to get a buggy but was a little taken back by the £40 charge. Nevertheless, staff were very friendly, course was very challenging and in very good condition. We'd definitely return but might walk next time!
Up for a challenge
Played a twilight deal which is certainly good value. Course challenging for me as it slightly unforgiving if you’re anything other than straight. Numerous lost balls and penalties later, I can say I got round. Glad to have played it though and the greens and fairways were in excellent condition, barring a few parched areas. I will be back to experience it again, although I might bring a trailer next time for my spare balls.
Great course, slow pace of play
Played here in late April for the first time and weather was ok but a little wet.
Great layout and some testing holes. Definitely need a rangefinder to assist.
Although a single player I played behind a 3- ball who made it obviously clear they weren’t going to let me through, appreciate they don’t have to but common sense sometimes should prevail. Took me 5 hours to complete the full 18! Ended up playing 2 balls to get the most out of it.
These days most clubs don’t employ anyone to monitor the pace of play so I can’t be too harsh but it falls down to the players to self-regulate in this instance.
Nonetheless, great course and I fully recommend a visit if staying in the locality.
Championship course
Course In good condition as usual never fails to give you a hard challenge
