Challenging 9 holer
Always get a friendly reception at Newent golf course. With some tricky holes and greens in great condition. This course should not be ignored.
Good little knock nothing special
1st hole on temp green in May was a bit of a shock and didn’t get told about it before T time so just found out as we walked up the hole, good little course bunkers in bad condition greens OK not a lot else to say about it, cheap and cheerful really would recommend if new or on a budget.

Staff very friendly as always, clear instructions on where/when to go & course in great condition considering the weather as of late.

Friendly well looked after course
First time playing this course after being recommended by someone. Lovely well kept course with the most friendly staff I have ever come across and was made to feel very welcome. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area

First time playing here and I will be back.
Yes is a short 9 hole, no there’s not any par 5’s but this course is fantastic.
The par 4’s are drivable but you have to be accurate, narrow fairways and fast greens means that you will use your irons a lot more and have to control distance and accuracy a lot more than normal. Every hole makes you think carefully about club selection and makes you play the course rather than a game of distance.
The course is in immaculate condition and the greens are some of the best I’ve ever played on, all very consistent and smooth.
The staff here are lovely and very welcoming.
A must recommend course to play whether for a practice round or with friends who like a challenge.
A great course for a relaxing morning of golf.
This is a fun little 9 hole course. It’s easier than most and a very relaxing couple of hours. The course is set in a lovely part of Newent and the surrounding is stunning. The staff are very friendly and the pro shop is good.
Only gripe is there is no par 5.

One of my favourite courses of the area, staff are lovely, food and refreshments are top tier and the course is fantastic! Challenging and exciting holes
Great place to play
Friendly staff, varied holes, course always kept in nice condition. Fast greens in the Summer. Playable all year,
Sandy dirt “greens” don’t bother
If you want to hack a round then fine but if you can play don’t play here
Excellent for a beginner and to master iron play off tee.
Lovely course for someone new to golf. Couple of great, short par 3s. There for the taking if you want to hit a good score.
As good condition as always
Course in great condition, fast pace of play and friendly staff. Great value for money.

Yes my club is top dressing but there is still enough grass on the green to make it playable - your top dressing was 95 % sand :)
Surprised as a golfer that you don’t know that every decent course in the country is top dressing, spiking and seeding their greens at this time of year, it’s top dressing month!🤦♀️
