Conditions were the best I’ve seen seen for 10 years! Team has done a fantastic job

This is a great course to play and affordable. The greens were punched a week ago so they discounted the rate significantly which was a happy surprise. tight fairways, but doable. Love playing here and close enough to play during the weekday mornings.

The course was in immaculate shape. Although the greens were sanded, it still played well. Shorter course makes it very enjoyable.

They aerated the greens, but there was nothing on Golf Now that told you this until after you arrived. They gave a $20 discount to some people, but not everyone. I had received a discount through Golf Now due to promotion stuff with Golf Now. Nothing to do with the golf course. I wish Golf Now would have known that they were aerating and posted this, but I’m sure they can’t keep up with every golf course in the United States

Bunkers are good minus are fellow players not raking!

Tee boxes, well the tee boxes are in need of TLC, some are resodded while others have dirt patches. Would have been 5 stars but the tee boxes dropped it.

Course Marshall's constantly harassed us even though we did not hold anybody up. Course was in good condition.

The staff was friendly and engaging. The course was laid out well some of the tee boxes are in range to be hit by a bad tee off

Someone was monitoring pace of play in a friendly manner. Need good restrooms not porta johns.

This course is not very difficult and a lot of people walk. So it takes a little longer to play plus it was cart path only because of all the rain we had. I like the layout of the course but there are a few holes where it's very narrow with hazards on both sides of the fairway. But not impossible. Just need to choose the right club of the tee. So it's challenging in that aspect and there are a few holes where you have to lay up due to water and hazards through the fairway. Thankfully, I played with people who knew the course. So that helped a lot. The GPS on the carts did not work which was a bummer. So bring your range finders. This was the first time I played at a course where the GPS just didn't work at all.

Played River Pines for the first time this year and many of the tee boxes were in horrible shape as you needed a jack hammer to put your tee in the ground! Greens were in good shape as were the bunkers. Not worth the weekend cost due to the tee box issues.

The course is good but the staff needs to be fired. When our round was complete, we found a cell phone left in a cart and tried to turn it in at bag drop. Attendant could care less, showed no ownership, and told us to take it up to the clubhouse. Wouldn't even radio in we found a missing phone. Also, although lightning was 10+ miles away, they cleared us off the course when the alarm went off and gave a measly $8 refund. Turns out the storm dissipated by the time it got to our area from Stone Mountain, no rain, no lightning, nothing in Johns Creek, just everyone go home.

This is our second or third time here in recent months and each time we’ve encountered less than courteous staff that makes it not worthwhile to come back.

This afternoon, the lightning alarms went off however the lightning was over 10 miles away. Everybody was kicked off the course and by the time the cell got close to our actual location, it had dissipated into nothing, no rain, no lightning, just a little wind.

We also found a cell phone that someone had left behind and tried to turn it into staff, however, they had no interest in doing that and told us just to leave it in the cart and hopefully the owner will come back. We asked if they could return it to the clubhouse and the staff member clearly expressed no interest in doing that and drove away on his golf cart.

Played with nice people, course was in relatively good shape. Had a nice dsy.
