Lake Arrowhead Yacht & Country Club - Highlands Course

This course was great, as far as the course is concerned. It’s challenging and beautiful and is well maintained. Many of the staff (restaurant staff, Marshalls) need some training and help. Wrong orders after waiting 20 minutes at the turn, being asked to skip a hole as a first warming after a fast playing group behind called the clubhouse(instead of asking to play through) led to a poor playing experience/visit. I’ll try them again in a year. For the money, I’d expect better.

Lake Arrowhead can be considered as one of the more challenging courses around Atlanta especially from the tips. The conditions were acceptable for spring time. Some teeboxes need work and greens played slow but overall it was decent. Plenty of slopes, so planning the shots well in advance is important.

Great tough course with beautiful views. Only downside is the kitchen isnt really open during the week so getting a bite at the turn wasn't really an option. Still an awesome course for the price. Cannot wait to play there again.

The course is challenging and can play pretty long depending on tee box selection. My biggest issue is the staff and golf carts. Second time I have been there and my tee time was late because they don’t have enough carts. I teed off 25 minutes later than expected and could not finish the round. It caused a massive backup in play because everyone tried to go off at one time. Too bad it’s a fun course but they need to manage tee time better and golf carts.

I had a buddy traveling through and he wanted a course with elevation. The course has plenty of great views and challenging holes.

Nice course...secluded with wooded/Mountain View. I always enjoy playing this course.

Due to an error on my part we showed up Saturday and were advised they did not have our reservation. After some back and forth we figured out I was my error (failed to double check date). They were gracious and were able to fit us in a little later. Some had a leisurely lunch and hit the range for a bit and then played our round. Greens we in good shape, fairways still brown and some spots rock hard. But that is due to the season. Overall a great experience.

Boy oh boy what a beaut lake arrowhead was. From the incredible staff to the beautiful course you definitely won’t miss out coming here. Their chicken salad croissant sandwich was insanely good, their greens were a little slow but I’m garbage at golf so that doesn’t matter…..BALRIGHT! and their staff were incredibly helpful and nice! Can’t wait to come back and play several more times! PS: The guy on the range that talked crap about my ability to golf, he didn’t break 100. HERE WE GOOOOO!

Course was beautiful. Tons of deer. Played midday on a Saturday and took 4 hours. Staff seemed a little stuffy but the guests were friendly.

Had a day off through the week and decided to play. Great staff and a great course. Will definitely be back.
