Towne Lake Hills Golf Club

Overall the golf course was in pretty good shape the greens were about 50% green and the rest had dirt and it's after an aeration so maybe the grass will grow back in but greens were at best 50% potable Fairways were good it could probably use some tree trimming on the edges to make the fairways a little more accessible from the tee boxes

Easy to find advanced tee times. Price was OK, but should have been a little less due to fairway and greens condition. They did aerate earlier in the week and greens were sanded. The greens did not recover from the aeration and were really bumping, sand didn't help. Some of the fairways were cut and left with clumps but not blown off. There were numerous workers on the course taking care of it so I would anticipate better conditions later in the week.

Greens are like putting on mars. Fairways and tee boxes are decent. I’d avoid playing here til greens are better

Can't wait to play in it a month or so. I bought the tee time knowing the greens were recently aerated. The prices reflected it so there weren't any complaints from our group.

I'm a 6 handicap and I very much enjoyed the challenge. Narrow tee shots and elevation changes are visually challenging and require good shot making.

Bent grass greens that were in good shape in August was surprising. They rolled very good at a medium speed.

I enjoyed it.

Very challenging course but I had a decent day with the flagstick so that usually makes for a fun round. The speed of the greens were just right for me. Everyone was friendly and I enjoyed the range for a brief warm up before my round. I’ll be back to this well maintained course with a very unique layout that I enjoyed.

The layout is fantastic. Just aerated so some greens were a little tough, but they adjusted the price accordingly and the rest of the course was immaculate.

But the best part was the people. The employees were happy, joking, and often uttered that rare (today) phrase, "thank you."

First time in a long time I've played this course, but I will be back soon!

First, the starter was beyond rude. For short response and unwelcoming, annoyed by people type of personality. Next, we were paired with a 4th who was a member, who refused to turn off his 1920’s musics on full blast the entire round. After multiple requests, he would honor the request and then turn it right back up after the next shot. From there, the $10 turkey sandwich and chips were worse than a public school cafeteria. We tried to call the number to order at hole 8 but the line was busy, then took 15 minutes to get food which made us stack behind the group behind us. For a course that has a lot of local competition, there is a lot of lipstick on an otherwise unimpressive pig

I had not played the Towne Lake Hills golf course in years, and when I finally got a chance to play it again recently, I remembered how much I enjoy this course. The course is in great shape, and the pace of play is decent. I love the layout since it is fair. You do have to think about your shots, but nothing is brutally difficult. The clubhouse is really nice, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this course if you can manage to find a tee time.

Had a great time playing this course. I played it from the blue which made the experience more enjoyable! Gold is too tough

I wasn’t prepared for aerated greens. That was too bad as it looked like the greens would be the highlight of an otherwise cramped layout. No way to walk this thing. Some drives feel like a mile away. And unfortunately, the two teens I was paired with had not been taught golf course etiquette. Call me old fashioned but when I’m prepping to putt a 10 footer, my playing partners should not be lining up their 3 footer at the same time. I had to leave them at that point. One of them was happy to let me know he was a member.

The course is overpriced for what they deliver in quality.
