Callahan Golf Links in Waleska possesses a rich history of more than 150 years of farming and family ownership. Before being converted into a golf course, the site functioned as a farm from the Civil War until World War II. When creating the course, the natural beauty of the landscape was carefully preserved. As its name would suggest, the layout is a true links design with carefully placed pot bunkers and thick cuts of rough. Water is barely present but there are plenty of other challenges throughout that will quickly make you forget that fact. It is gentle enough for beginners but the back tees will challenge more experienced players. Golfers can also work on their short game on the chipping and putting greens or warm up on the driving range. The affordable rates make Callahan Golf Links an excellent value.

Great day at Callahan
We had two foursomes play on a perfect weather day. Appreciated the new starter (Val?) who did a good job of keeping the morning tee groups organized and out on time. Pace of play was excellent. Greens in very good shape. This place is a good golf value.

Plush fairways and soft greens
We played on Wednesday and the course was in great shape. The soft greens allow you to shoot right at the pin. I’ve played here many times before and I’ll definitely be back.
