It's been eons since I have played this course.

Staff was great.

Play was light...no waiting to tee off.

I like the layout...even the holes around the ski lift stuff.

Course was is in half way decent shape.

Greens were ok - a tad hard....

Fairways were thinnish, which I like.

Rough wasn't too penal.

Bunkers were old-type Chicago crusty sand.

Distances were off from the posted hole signage distance on the tee.

For instance, first hole #1 is listed @ 452 from the blue tee. GPS listed it @ 410 to the middle of the green. Distances were off on most tee off areas.

Give it a shot.

Nice course, very scenic. Because it was a holiday the Halfway House was not open, doors locked making it a long walk to ladies room. Staff was pleasant.

Villa Olivia needs some love. The greens and fairways need to be watered. There was no place to get a bite at the turn. We had to double back to the clubhouse for something to drink. It was not at the level of the muni's in the area. . Cart also do not have GPS.

For starters, they should be ashamed how much they charge to play this absolutely atrocious course. Every tee box is beat up. The course hasn’t seen water since Noah finished building the Ark. what they have in the bunkers I don’t think ever could’ve been categorized as sand. Just an overall terrible experience on a terribly maintained golf course. I would give up playing before playing this course again.

Greens are certainly better than past years. Rough is not quite so deep. tee grass was a little long but not terrible. Carts are old and no GPS but price of course is better than most. Could use a set of tees more forward on some holes for us over 75 crowd and ladies.

Wish they would have notified us of only the front nine being played. Course was not in good shape. Will not play there again this year. Not worth the money either.

for late March its always good to be playing golf , knowing the course will not be in top shape . that being said course was in good shape , greens were fair . had to play front 9 twice , the back nine not open yet

Dear GolfNow Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue with my recent reservation at Villa Olivia Golf Club on March 21 at 12:00 PM for three players (Confirmaiton#: 419654820). Although my booking included an electric cart, we were informed upon arrival that no carts were available and that the course was walking only. This information was not provided in advance through GolfNow.

We tried to cancel the reservation at the course, but we were told that cancellations could not be made because the booking was through GolfNow. As a result, we had no choice but to continue without carts.

In addition, although we booked an 18-hole round, the back nine (holes 10–18) were closed, and we were instructed to replay holes 1–9. This was also not communicated beforehand.

Because both the lack of electric carts and the partial course closure were not disclosed, I am requesting a refund of the cart fees totaling $72.9 (USD24.3 per person) for the service that was not provided.

I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this issue.

Wayyyyy overbooked for only having the front 9 open and no carts. They also only had 3 push carts available for the entire day according to the nice girl working in the pro shop. Tee times were 10 mins apart which would be fine if the back 9 was open but given that everyone was playing the front 9 twice, tee times should have been every 20 mins. Poor management. And greens were oversanded. The ball hardly even rolled.

Let’s just say, I wouldn’t pay more than $30 with a cart to play here, but for that price, it’s fine.

Worth money all was good but tee boxes were in rough shape

Course layout is great. Could be maintained a little better. Tee boxes need watering. Ball washers need to have water. Drinking water dispensers are frequently empty

Fun course just needs some dead trees to be removed.
