Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club

About
Formerly known as Poplar Creek Country Club, the club was transformed into the Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in 2011. Besides just the name change, the design itself was dramatically reinvented. Fifteen holes were completely redesigned but the golf course's most memorable holes were left untouched. Bunkers and fairways were reconfigured and fescue was planted to provide more depth and definition. To make the course even more challenging, new lakes were also added. The golf course is definitely a shot maker's layout that rewards accuracy and thoughtful strategizing. The final three holes are considered by many locals to be the toughest finishing trio in all of Illinois. It begins with an uphill par 4, followed by the longest par-3 and par-4 holes respectively. The Bridges of Poplar Creek C.C. offers a round that will challenge even the most avid golfers.

First time playing here since new design
Played from tees about 6,000 yards. I haven’t played here in over 10 years. A more challenging and water guarded layout than before. Fairway bunkers come into play. Also used driving iron on few holes that are tight with hazards. This track is well played and worn, like most course in the Midwest right now. Looks like they were fertilizing a lot of old divots on the green. we enjoyed the course and staff was friendly. We will likely be back.

Nice to be able to play Thanksgiving weekend in Chicago
Fun course
This was my first time so I think I need to try it again in the late spring. The conditions were good for late November though. I'd like to see this course when they cut the greens multiple times per week.
Decent course with lots of water challenging but fair.
Nice course good staff
course is nice got a hot deal for a good price but does not look like they are offering for a reasonable price anymore wont be back till they offer better price
Bridges of Poplar Creek
Very nice course. Have played it many times. Good layout.
Hidden Gem in Hoffman Estates
Not often you get to start a course with the hardest handicap holes back-to-back. You’d think the course easily opens up afterwards that, but more challenges arise. First time playing, I’ll definitely be back!
Staff has no manner
When we played, 3 guys(staff) standing right next to green and talking at second hole. They didn’t care of anything. They saw us, still standing. It is dangerous and bothering too much. If they work at golf course, they should have manner . I wonder how they work over there without common sense. I told them it is dangerous and bothering, they looks like dont care. Someone please hit their head next time, then they will know how stupid they do. Thank you for messing up 2 hole. I regret not taking picture of them. Shame..
Great staff and price
Great course Teed off exactly at our start time they had us wait because a high school tournament was there which is exactly what they should do no need to be on top of each other and it's great that give the kids space was wide open after start
