Bartlett Hills Golf Club

This course is beautifully keep, and will fairly challenge players of all abilities. The abundance of old oaks and other trees harken back to the days when each hole was its own entity; before the cutting down of so many trees elsewhere so as to speed up play. The greens are fast, modulated and really well kept.

What was unfortunate was the pin placement on a few holes, which I felt violated the Slope, Gradation and Fairness guidelines of the USGA. For example, a ball being putted uphill, which misses the cup by a foot or two, should not be able to then roll backwards past the cup, resulting it being further away than when initially putted.

Otherwise, this is a course I look forward to playing again.

Stay in the fairway and you’ll be fine.

Get into the rough and IF you can find your ball good luck getting off a predictable shot!

The beer cart gal was nice and friendly.

Every time I play this course it’s a joy. Fairways are perfect, bunkers are great and greens are so fast and rock hard. Course is not long but the greens will challenge any good player. Stay below the hole!

Overall good course, wasn’t a fan of the warm up area not having flags and being kind of hidden. Course was fun and staff was nice. Carts were ok but were dirty when we were given them for our time. As far as the actual golf the greens were rock hard and nothing stuck at all making it very challenging.

Fun course, staff was great, the duo we got paired with were fun to play with. Overall good course. Greens were tough and was like hitting onto a rock but after seeing a ball bounce hard after a wedge shot we figured it out. Would play again if I found a deal but wouldn’t pay 70 dollars again for this course. Amazing time was had though and enjoyed the day. Glad I got to play it.

Although it was a busy Saturday afternoon, I was shocked. The course was not backed up beautiful fairways and well manicure greens. The only thing I had a problem with was the par 3 189 yards for women. I’m not Nelly Korda

Loved this place. Was in great shape and overall has a fun layout. All I would say is beware of those greens. They are crazy fast!

Bartlett Hills is a solid, old-school layout that still feels like a hidden gem in the western suburbs. The rolling, wooded terrain gives it real character, and the conditioning was very good for a public course. Greens are the signature: fast, undulating. Overall, Bartlett Hills delivers a lot of golf for the money: interesting holes, genuine elevation changes, and greens that will keep you honest. Worth a visit if you’re in the Bartlett area

Course was in great shape. Greens are firm and fast. Best we have played on all summer.

Rough shape. Greens were rocks nothing held and all putts rolled by 6 feet. Fringe was 4 inchesnthick right off green. Buried balls created slow play. The whole place needed water. Needs water before you lose all your teeboxes and fairways.
