Nice course, terrible customer service

The course itself is beautiful and well maintained, but unfortunately our experience with the staff was extremely disappointing.

My partner and I paid $127.72 for 18 holes, and my son paid $62. Our tee time was 2:36 PM, although we didn't actually tee off until approximately 2:50 because a group outing was finishing in front of us.

At approximately 6:35 PM, an employee came onto the back nine and approached my son—not my partner and me, who were right nearby—and accused my partner and I of stealing the back nine, claiming we had only paid for 9 holes. We had, in fact, paid for 18, and I drove up to the pro shop and showed him our receipt. He then said he had confused us with someone else. No apology.

He proceeded to tell us we had been on the course too long and needed to leave. However, the scorecard states that an 18-hole round is to be completed within 4 hours and 15 minutes. Based on our actual tee-off time, we had not exceeded that limit when we were so rudely removed and still had 30 minutes left to play.

We asked for a rain check for the 7 holes we were prevented from playing and were told they don't give rain checks.

What made the situation particularly frustrating was that we were the last group on the course, the staff appeared ready to close, and we were removed well before the posted playing-time limit. It certainly left us with the impression that the priority was getting the course closed early rather than allowing paying customers to finish the round they had purchased. The rude desk attendant also said, “Look I have 2 cart attendants that are sitting around waiting to go home.”

The employee's behavior throughout the interaction was extremely rude and dismissive. I subsequently contacted the owner three times and even gave her the opportunity to simply explain why we were removed early. I received a short one-line rude response. “We don’t give rainchecks.” I asked again for a reason why we were removed early and asked what the rules where that allowed for our removal and she couldn’t be bothered to respond.

A beautiful course does not make up for poor customer service, disrespectful treatment of paying customers, and management's refusal to address a legitimate complaint.

We paid for 18 holes. We played 11. We were accused of stealing the holes we had already paid for, forced off the course early, denied a rain check, and then ignored by management.

That is not how paying customers should be treated.

The course is good, it has some interesting holes, uphill shots and downhill shots along with some standard holes makes for a decent golf course...it was in decent shape, a few spots where grass was cut and left other parts of the fairways the grass was browning but all in all a nice solid golf course with numerous interesting holes.

Deceptively challenging course with well place trees and bunkers to ensure that you focus on fairway drives. Greens were very difficult with pin placements that required an extremely deft touch. As a beginner player, I would hold off playing this course again due to it's difficulty but a mid-tier or better player would find this course very fun to play. I'll be back in a little while after I improve my game. Staff was nice and the course well maintained.

This course is the best in this area. Course is always in great shape.

Very good course for the value. Greens are great and the fairways are well kept. The rough isn't death and the holes aren't too tight either so you can hit your drive if you're up for it. Other than a few very minor inconveniences like some bigger cart path holes and bumps but other than that its a great course.

This course needs some updates. Although the course is pretty, it is a

links set up. Golfers are all over each

others fairways and you are constantly ducking your head. The clubhouse is old and outdated and doesn’t provide amenities. It was literally a ghost town. We were greeted by the owner who was less than friendly. I would not choose this course again.

Without a doubt, the worst course I’ve ever played in my life, incredibly slow pace of play and golfers hitting at each other even on your own fairway. The staff, including management were horribly unprofessional and not at all focused on customer service.
