Watch your head!
Pleasantly surprised at pace of play for a Saturday - about 5 hours. This course is a great choice as a place to work on your game. There are some sections where you really have to watch for flying golf balls and there are plenty of players yelling "fore!" Overall an enjoyable day.
The course was in good shape but NO ONE fixes their divots on the green. I must have fixed 30-40 divots. Pace of play was relatively slow but manageable. Good experience over all.
nice course
course is fun to play , a lot of areas could use some grounds keeping , needs some grass in those areas . grens are in great shape .
A nice course
Great condition, nice friendly staff.
Keep the ball out of the rough and you will be fine.
Don’t bother
Course is not maintained well. I will never return. I played here only because of the available tee time and cost. It seems like a great deal, but now i can see why. I honestly feel i over payed for the course.
Course layout is hard to tell (since this was my first (and last) visit), since the fairway and rough looked the same. Cart path were mostly dirt paths. I’m sorry, I’m not trying to hammer this course, the staff were very hospitable and welcoming, but i felt i was playing on private land who has a home made golf course.
Too wet yesterday
The sprinklers were on for far too long. We were told to start on the back 9 and ended up getting soaked on hole 17 from the hose flooding half the fairway and slipping all over the place. Usually don’t have an issue here but yesterday was a bit much with how much water was on the fairways and having multiple on on the 9 holes they had us start one
Good value and perfect track for high handicapper
We chose to play this course mainly because the green fees were the most affordable in the area. As mid-90s to 110 golfers, we appreciate a relaxed environment where picking up is no big deal. This course is perfect for players who just want to get out and play without spending a fortune.
While the course could use some attention, it’s definitely playable. The staff is friendly and welcoming—the young gentleman on duty not only checked us in but also made excellent drinks! Overall, this course offers enough benefits to merit a visit, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly round and a laid-back atmosphere.
Affordable
The dayI was there, seemed like allot of first time golfers. No knowledge respect for ready golf.
I believe the ranger was sick that day. I've played in the past and had a much more enjoyable experience. I will play again but much earlier in the day.
Chapel Hill CC
Course has many hardpan spots. They do maintain te greens and tees well.
It is a tight course - you have to keep the ball in play.
Ridiculously slow
Drove 45 minutes to join my son for Father's day outing.
Pace of play was a joke. 4some in front of us was almost 2 holes behind the group ahead of them. We waited absolutely every shot anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. Only the fact I was with my son saved the event. Too many holes had blind shots where you couldn't see where the group in front of you was. Dirt hard fairways . Really should issue hard hats at clubhouse, balls flying all over the place. Not worth the drive or money, sorry...
You get what you pay for!
A Concrete landing pad packed with people. Long waits for tee off, but for 23 bucks with a cart on the hot deal, I got what I paid for. The best water hazard was the sprinkler that was on on the first hole.
