Worthington Manor Golf Club

Finding a course this time of year where the greens have been cared for without being in rough condition is a real chore, but Worthington Manor was superb! You could still make out the remnants of green aeration, but the surfaces were certainly well more than adequate. The rest of the course was immaculate. It's a tough scoring course the requires some club management (even though I fell prey to the "just use driver" temptations far too often) -- the staff was super helpful. The only thing that even might have been less than "perfect" was that the server/bartender in the clubhouse wasn't proficient in cocktail making (she was willing to make an Old Fashion if I would tell her the recipe but then she found out that she was expected to use their pre-mix Buffalo Trace can -- but she made put in a free splash of Rye which more than remedied the can mixture). The food was AMAZING and her attentiveness more than made up for anything that was "sub par" about the dining!

Love everything about this place. The staff is friendly, practice facilities are nice and the course in general was in great shape.

We played the first seven holes in 70 minutes, and then the last eleven took a little over three hours. Unfortunately a foursome in front playing from tees that they shouldn't created a bottleneck. Luckily the group I was paired with was great and the weather perfect.

A few of the greens were also quite damaged, we were told by the desk staff that it was an oil leak from one of the mowers. Hopefully these will be repaired soon.

Conditions were solid, greens are challenging and extremely difficult to play top-sided.

Healthy mix of gettable and challenging holes.

Pace of play was very disappointing, expect a 5 hr+ round on the weekend (10-minute tee time increments all day with no pause)

Even for a single digit amateur , course way too hard, for no reason . Lots of forced carries from downhill lies, every hole , uneven lies.. honestly , very bland and most holes have a blind shot. Well maintained, and as long as you can drive it 250 and straight , you will be ok. For the 99% of us who can’t, PB dye is a far more interesting track. Staff were super friendly.

Played for the first time. Paired up with 2 older members and had a blast. Course was in good shape. Greens a little rough. Worth the price.

Worthington is one of my favorite courses. It’s a great setting, layout and the staff is friendly. The pace was perfect and the course was in great shape.

Enjoyed everything but the Augusta greens. No reason for public course to have greens this fast.

This the first time I've played the course. Staff was very friendly. I happened to run into the pro and he was so kind. Great guy! I will definitely play here again and I am even looking at joining now.

Challenging course, great greens. The course is always in great shape, the layout rewards good shot-making, and the elevation and scenery make it a fun round every time. The par 3s are all enjoyable! Challenging but fair—highly recommend.

The greens are mean I 3 putted 5 times I think and was close too a few 4 puts but the course is great

I have played this course before and had great experiences. Today’s round was great until we were stopped by a marshall smoking a cigarette interrupting our group on 11 fairway. He started by saying “you have to hurry up we have 2 holes open ahead of you and we have 196 golfers today”. What he didn’t ask or understand was we were the 7:50am tee time with a 3 person ahead of us. I asked in the clubhouse after the fact and was told he meant to speak with the 9:50am group. Ruining a $120 round off of your mistake and no apology leaves a bad impression.

It's a nice course but there are a lot of nice courses and many in the same area that are nicer and considerably cheaper.. The GPS in the carts has too small of a screen and it is mounted too high making using it not all that pleasent. Why go to this course when you can go elsewhere and be happier.
