Decent course
The pace of play has been terrible the last two rounds. Last round was a Saturday, the one before that was a Wednesday. They don’t seem to even try to address the issue. The course is in good condition overall, but has a few spots in fairways that are way too wet and soggy. There hasn’t been much rain so seems like a drainage and/or sprinkler location issue. The course layout is pretty good other than 17 which is a ridiculously short par 4 that should be a par 3. Course has a driving range, the pro shop has a decent selection of merchandise. The bar/restaurant has decent food.
This course was very welled maintained.
I was very pleased with this course from the gentlemen at the.proshop to the starter that greated us while we were walking the proshop from the parking lot.
Loon layout
The course was lush and the greens in excellent shape. No one out the day we played so speed not an issue. It has 5 par 3's and some over 200 yards. Most holes interesting and require a second round to understand the strategy. Great wooded Northern Michigan course
Nice course
The layout is good except for a few holes - like #1 that has a drop off/pond after 200+ yds. hitting blind. No on the course yardages anywhere Not sprinter heads, posts, blocks, etc and no gps on the carts
conditions were very good, nice fairways and greens rolled somewhat fast and smooth.
crowded and slow pace
Loon
Only complaint. every ball washer was dry or didn't work
Generally very good
Two complaints every ball washer was bone dry. Not a single place on course with water to drink.
Wonderful experience
Great course, friendly and professional staff.
A must play
Great layout
Course was in great shape. Greens were fast but fair. Staff is very friendly. Only negative was pace of play was slow. Usually play in 4 hours, this took 5.
Will play here again!
