Hunters Ridge Golf Course

This course is in great shape fun play anytime. But especially in the fall because it has minimal leaves on the course. Mostly link style.

The only negative that comes to mind is one must traverse a dirt road for a minute or two. Sometimes the beauty of the fall colors is diminished by balls you lose under the leaves. Course had all leaves taken cleaned up. Fairways were fast and firm, greens were above average speed and held good shots.

Incredibly well-kept course. Courteous and clearly knowledgeable staff. The folks here know how to run and take care of a golf course. You pay $50 or $60 for a course way out of town and you don't always know quite what you are going to get. At Hunters Ridge you get a pleasant surprise of an immaculate course and friendly staff that make you want to come back and play it again and again.

Found this course last year. Never had a bad ground. Conditions are PRISTINE. Greens roll true. Pace has been an issue once out of the 10 times I’ve played it. Will be playing regularly.

Favorite place to play over the rest of Livingston County…

We play a different coarse every Sunday. We are from the Macomb area. So it was about an hour and a half one way. Needless to say. Well worth the trip. It was a fantastic day

Although we were a twosome and understand the etiquette of golf, there were two groups ahead of us that made the day one where we will not be back. The first nine was 2 hours and 15 minutes and we mentioned to the starter that things were slower than a normal Sunday round. He said he would monitor the situation. When we teed off on 10 and as we approached our tee shots and approach to the green we noticed that the two groups were now one group of seven playing a a sevensome scramble. We skipped to the 11th. It was oaky until we hit the 15th and again the pace of play was affected by a twosome. In the end, with those delays and us skipping a hole it was a 4 hours 20 minute round.

Extremely well conditioned links style course. Great layout with a good variety of holes without feeling like a target golf track. Out in the country - no highway noise, no homes on the course. Challenging undulating greens that were difficult to read but rolled well.

Staff was very friendly. No cart paths, only gravel, there was a lot of rain the night before but the course did not have restrictions (to my knowledge) with the cart GPS.

Very good course, fairly easy to get tee times and will definitely play here again. The only problem is it is a bit short if you are a longer hitter

Great course, very goof conditions, It’s my favorite course in the area so I don’t mind the 45 minute drive to play. Speed of play is very good, 3:20 to play 18👍

We really enjoyed our first time at this golf course. The course was well maintained. The only problem was we didn’t see a beverage cart until we got on the back 9. It was a very hot day, so it would have been nice to have some service on the front 9. Other than that we really enjoyed our time.

Played a practice round with my son prior to a junior tournament. Course was in good condition. It’s similar to other rural michigan courses that we’ve played - if you go into the tall grass, you won’t find your ball. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the money if you are in the area.

This course was well worth the one hour drive. Fairways were plush. The greens were fast and true. I would play this course every week if it was a little closer!
