Great Course
The course is in great shape as usual. It’s consistently well taken care of and professional run. I only question the value of booking through Golf Now.
Good track, needs a little attention
Always like this layout. Pin placements were impossible on a couple of holes! The rough needs to be cut down immediately off the fairways. And the tee boxes needs to be level and reseeded. All that said, this is still a good course and I’ll play it again.
Poor ranger course management
On the 1st tee we asked the ranger to make sure the foursome in front of us kept pace. The ranger was a terrible person saying the group is only playing nine holes. Never coming around to ask the foursome to keep up or even asking them to let us play through.
We played the front nine I two hours 40 minutes. Totally unacceptable for a Friday morning.
Three of the players in our group had a 3 hour drive back to Indiana so were not able to continue to the back nine holes and left. Ranger was a disappointment and disgrace
Slow play kills the day
Don't think we will be playing this course again. The pace of play was 4 hours and 50 minutes. We observed kids on the course without supervision playing around like kids do. .we didn't see a ranger out on the course all afternoon.
Metropark
First time playing this course. It is similar to other metropark courses with well manicured Fairways, greens, and even bunkers. Liked the challenge of tight Fairways. Hard to read greens. Beautiful course and luckily I got to play on a beautiful day. Appreciate you out there keeping up the course.
Great Course / Lousy Refund Ability
I reserved for 2 people, but one is walking. When I explained to course staff that one was walking, the staff said that they do not issue credit for one walking and I had already paid for 2 riding. What a scam!!!!
Great course
The course was a great value for the money and while wide open, it has some challenging holes with the undulating elevations.
Good Metro Course
Rate was a little high for seniors. Hated to book online which the course requires on Friday Saturday & Sundays.
Conditions
The greens were great. Best I have seen this year on a public course. Two things about the conditions I noticed on the negative side. We were first out so not all the bunkers were raked. Secondly, not truly the fault of the course, but many of the greens were littered with ball marks. Tried to fix a few every hole but too many to count. Golfers need to do better.
Great Value for the Money, Excellent Course Conditions!
I paid $30 to play 18 with a cart which is a great deal for this course. Conditions were great, course layout is good. Pace of play was a little slow due to a 3 some and a 2 some who were walking and not fast, luckily they only played nine so the back nine was much faster. Overall the Metropark courses are very solid values and consistent conditions across the board. I would recommend trying all of them!
