West at Tamarack Golf Course

Play on Saturday morning before Father's Day. Pace of play was fine for 9 then wide open for back 9. Greens were dry and fast. The weather was great. As we say "We are playing golf it is better than working. ". Will be back to play again. Maybe East will be open.

The course is always wet with foxholes in the fairways. I've never seen a course drain so badly.

The greens were still recovering from airation. Some bunkers need fresh sand. . The group in front of us was kinda slow causin the group behind us to hit up on us until I gave them the death stare.

It’s so weird how a courses fairways and greens are kept relatively nice, but the rough is so bad. If you hit your ball 5 feet off the fairway good bye you cannot find it. And most of the holes are surrounded by very high brush like grass. Like I said nice course however I think it could use help in the grooming side of things. Also a lot of the Teeboxes have a lot of sandy dirt spots.

Course has potential. Management needs to care more.

I’m a beginner golfer and this was my first time at this course. It’s was a challenging course but not too hard for me. Staff was very friendly and I had a great time. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Aerated bumpy greens and standing water all over the place

As a county resident, Tamarack is the best county option out there, but that’s only because the other choices are worse. It feels like every time I play there, they’re aerating the greens, so you’re better off putting with your eyes closed. I played with a guy who hit his putt, the ball jumped about a foot in the air, landed and just kept going. I mean it’s fine to aerate, but maybe add that as a warning at some point before players get on the course? Cart service was fine, but they removed all the benches, so if you were planning on walking the course, also plan on not sitting for 4-1/2 hours straight.
