The best Twitter follows for golfers are superintendents. You might think their jobs day-to-day can be monotonous, but it turns out no two are the same.

So when Ryan Maher, superintendent at Contra Costa Country Club, tweeted out this curious event from the fairways last week, we had to find out what was going on.
